Agreed, and also once your legacy has 1 character to 300, all other and future 70's should be automatically 300 also. I mean seriously, it still takes 300,000 years to get full BiS on each character once it has arrived at 300..... Whats the problem with only having to earn 300 once per legacy?
same with all other MMO's. They want you to spend as much time playing as possible so the grind for everything is implemented

It's funny the arrogance of subs. "No no the trolls will invade us" yeah because this place isn't full of subs complaining about everything and trolling others. I mean that don't happen already right?
Also the bs about "if they don't pay I don't care about their opinion" All the people buying CC's are paying. Whether you like it or not. The cartel market is the only reason this game is still going. Even if you refuse to admit that.

yawnnn...you just can't handle the truth. if you run up and take a kill with others waiting.You are a jerk simple as that.Any other actual nice, considerate person in the game would agree. It is a jerk move and very rude to not group for 5 secs so other's don't have to wait.

It is a amazing how anti-social so many players in this game are. The nonsense excuses for not grouping for a single freaking boss kill to complete a quest is ridiculous. I do NOT believe all these just stupid excuse for not doing it, If someone else is their waiting to kill it too. Not grouping with that person is flat out RUDE!. You are a jerk for not grouping and taking the kill then making that person wait even longer. There is absolutely no reason to not group. Oh boohoo I am a solo player and don't want to group, I am terrified of other human beings!. Oh please...such nonsense it takes 5 secs to kill something. So you can be in a group for 5 *********** seconds!. "i don't know their intentions".."you must message me frist" oh ffs. Its OBVIOUS what the group invite is for. Solo players refusing to group and making others wait even longer is JERKS. simple as that.

Not saying the OP hasn't had a problem but it just sounds like another thing that is an over exaggeration. I have rarely had this problem much at all no matter what area I have been in.
But still good luck grouping up for anything in the most anti-social mmo ever created. I dunno what it is but I guess Star War's fans are just introverts to the extreme, terrified to group with anyone. The excuse of "i don't want to group with 12 year olds and ******es" is just a bs excuse.I guess 99% of the player base is 12 year old's. where is this statistic coming from? I have played since release and rarely have I had an ******e in my groups. People just over exaggerate EVERYTHING. If they get 1 ******e then OMG! EVERYONE must be an ******e in groups.

They have no Q&A. I don't think they test anything before they release it. They release patches untested and we are the beta testers. It's how all companies are now. They cut corners and don't want to spend any money on Q&A. We are the testers now.

It would be nice of this **** would come to an end, but if EA switched to direct sale items everything will just be absurdly overpriced cause of EA's ridiculous greed. A lightsaber that is 30% off is still 40$ and at normal price it is 60$ if you have to buy the cartel coins. The packs and hypercrates are already way overpriced to begin with as well.

There is nothing wrong with giving MM Ops rewards for actually doing them and not just for the challenge. Which is flat out boring end of story. Once you do the Op for the challenge it's done and over. You don't feel no sense of accomplishment completing it again after the first time. It is also just a fact that solo players and people that don't do ops and ranked pvp do NOT need 248 gear and legendary augments. It's just a fact. There is not a single solo content in this game that requires it. It can all be completed in ****** green gear.

LOL yeah I am the obnoxious one because I don't tolerate people complaining about someone not wanting to skip content. I have no issue with politely asking to skip things as long as that's the end of it.

There are no official RP servers, the RP designation was removed long ago for a reason. If you want to rp do that garbage in private, if SWTOR wanted RPers they would still have RP servers. If SWTOR wanted RPers they would have made RP specific content. They should have never merged these RP people with the rest of us, they should have their own server or have designated areas or fleet instances for RP.
I shouldn't have to deal with these creepy RPers and nobody else should have to either. RPers think the normies ruin their gameplay, well guess what you are ruining ours btw.

First off if you are new to the content, announce it. Most peopk5 will be more understanding and may even explain things.
I will ask people to space and I do find it annoying if a FP takes 3x more time than needed. So yes the previous poster has a point, the fp's are mostly an end to a means to me. I have done most of them so often that my primary goal is to rush through for the daily/weekly, conquest or whatever.
If someone is new and would like to experience the movies please say so rather than stay silent. That being said I do find some of the previous posts pretty one-sided . Usually it is one silent guy not spacing. Depending on the fp this costs time for three other people - also bear in mind that for a lot of them you can do them on solo mode to fully experience the story, extra objectives aso. (And that very often you will be carried by the experienced players whose time you are taking)
I think part of it is that many people have done them so often that indeed they don't do them because they enjoy them, but as a means to an end. Reinforced by the cxp grind at 70, conquest and the relative lack of reward for a level70 in doing anything but clearing asap.
I would distinguish ops from fp's btw as you can not solo an op for the story. I do think guild group activities often a different pace - more social environment than a random pug.
On a note: I will usually decline a group invite if there is more than one low level in it. If you are unexperienced you can do the reverse. If you see the other 3 are level70 you can decline... the odds are quite high that they do not want to do anything but pass through asap.
You sound like the people that I can not stand to be in my groups. If you expect people to space bar through things then don't do PUG groups simple as that. Do your FP's with friends or guild mates. If you complain about it in my group then I will purposely watch every single cut scene and conversation.

I think for the people who want others to space-bar through everything it's more of a "I've seen it a 100 times" thing rather than I don't have time for this. I think for those who don't want others to take their time with things, it's best for them to group with friends! There's no need for people to be a dick about it.
Like others have said, this is the kind of behaviour that stops people from grouping.
Yeah well I don't care. If someone has seen something a 100 times or not. I have to. But doesn't mean others have. So anyone that complains about someone not spacebarring through things can just shut the hell up and deal with it. You have no right to complain about it if it's a PUG group.

Totally agree! I'm one of those "people who did everything solo from level 1 to 70", but I would LOVE to group up to do FPs, Ops, etc. However, I have always been reluctant to, due to the amount of people out there who do not have the patience for someone like me. They want to faceroll and spacebar through everything, and gods forbid you don't have the mechanics of every single group quest out there committed to memory.
Thankfully, I'm in a guild who is willing to let me group up and learn the ropes (which I'm doing slowly), but not everyone out there is so lucky and has to just use GF and pray they end up with some halfway decent people. Especially now, when the new comp is gated behind using GF.
There would probably be far more people not running solo on everything if there were more patient, decent people out there willing to help them out when they want to group.
Well I am a tank. So I can control the flow of the fights. if you are on Satele Shan server and end up one of my groups. Don't feel obligated to space bar through things.I tell anyone who *****es about it to ****. If people have a problem with it then they shouldn't be playing the game if they are that short on time.

Eric, i really hope to God above, that things get fixed, and that everything goes well. I think most of us would be willing to go for a couple weeks of downtime, as long as long lasting /bugs got fixed and everyone would get a good level Ping and Latency with their connections for everyone.

They've already said it is technically infeasible to do pod racing/swoop racing etc.
Simply put, the network code can't handle the level of precision at those speeds required to reliably determine who wins.
They also would likely need to rewrite the collision system. Look how often a speeder gets stuck on a tiny little rock sticking out as it is
yeah it's their own fault for using a crappy engine a crappy network code. that lags all the time. their terrible servers can barely handle the game as it is.

Ugh please no, not anymore Valkorian! I am so sick of the Emperor story line. PLEASE! Bioware just leave him dead and move on to other story lines.
That being said. They already pissed me off with Theron, which I am just hoping he is doing his typical spy thing and just being a double agent. But if they turn Lana into the real traitor I am immediately uninstalling and will never play this game again.
