  1. The escort ship in the first mission only takes damage from fighters. If you destroy every fighter that comes onscreen, the escort won't take any damage. I've finished it with like 95% hp left, still.
  2. I have 8 chars at level 15-21 and I do all the space combat dailies every day with all 8 of them. that's almost 3 hours a day of just space combat, so take my word for this. count how many blaster bolts it takes to destroy a fighter. with no upgrades, it takes 3 clicks. with level 1 upgrades, it takes 2 clicks (these are for the first space missions, I honestly don't know if the fighters get tougher). don't hold the mouse button down.. that's for noobs =). Holding down will likely put more rounds into the fighter that required, wasting time, basically. Realize that the blaster bolts lock-on, so you don't need to lead any of your shots. Barrel roll a lot to dodge stuff.
  3. Yup, that's the Sarapin Assault one (Imperial). It's probably something_Assault for the republic side. The other one you get at the same time as that one (level 20 req) can also destroy the bridge. It's the one where you have to destroy like 60 fighters (Imperial it's called Nez Peron Sweep).
  4. Lol. Sorry. I think I called them Protons first, but that time I called them photons because that's what the guy I quoted called them. I don't even have them yet =/
  5. Do you mean like, when you are too high of a level (gray) you no longer get XP for it? I haven't even gotten to the point with any of my characters that the first space missions stop giving xp. I'm not sure whether you mean that that bonus has a min level requirement or a max level requirement, as I don't have any characters that high and I don't know if skaross is a higher or lower than 35 level quest.
  6. Sorry darthbored, but they are repeatable. They are repeatable once daily, though, not once every mission. Like I said, I do these missions every day with 8 characters.. so I definitely have tested this.
  7. Seeing how I do this every day and I don't even have photons... it just takes a lot of missiles. It takes 20 missiles. Lemme update the op because this keeps gettign asked.
  8. DarthDemens, you are awesome. FYI, for destroying the brige in Nez Peron sweep, you will see the carrier a total of 3 times, and for me, I always just barely destroy it on the third time. The 3 chances to fire on the bridge are when the first bonus objective pops up (destroy 12 of it's turrets), then after that you'll swing around to fire at it again, and then finally it will reappear at the end of the mission. Like I said, it takes me all 3 times of nonstop firing at it to destroy it.. because I'm firing at the bridge I usually don't ahve enough time to take out the turrets for the other bonus. This one is particularly annoying because the short time to take it out, and because at one point the are targets behind the bridge, giving you a chance to accidently use a missile on something else.
  9. I know I'm nowhere near you.. but for the Cartel listening station (3rd sith space combat mission you get along with Jabiim escort ans Salusuar, right when you get your ship) all you do is fire nonstop at the tower with missiles. It takes 20 missiles to destroy it. Blasters have no effect on blue shielded things. I don't have the proton torpedos so I have no clue, but you could test that. That mission requires 20 missiles, so if you use a proton on it and then count how many missiles it takes after that, you could figure out proton torpedo damage.
  10. I'm not 100% on if this is right.. but I know it takes 20 missiles to destroy it. I *think* that perhaps the shield generators on the top make a difference in killing the communications tower. I'm paranoid though, because I swear once I fired all 20 missiles at it and it didn't blow up while all 3 generators were alive. Because that one time, I make sure to always take out the 3 generators and then use the 20 missiles on the communications tower. I'm probably crazy, but I don't fail that bonus anymore.
  11. They are highly worthwhile.. I've only got the first 5 space missions on my highest char, lvl 22, but the 3 bonuses I have so far total out to about 8k more xp/credits (only from the bonuses) each day, which is not bad..
  12. I want to level all 8 of my characters quickly and still get credits for them, so this is my strategy. So far it's working great, but I dunno how much space xp drops off later. Right now, I get like 1/2 a level on every character doing all the missions once each day except for my highest which is only like 22. I plan to do these weekly, and then burn the near 100% full rested bar for each charactr on the weekends. Right now, all of my characters are level 15+ and I've only been playing for like, a little over a week.
  13. because you can't be a chiss anything else.. I think.
  14. All 8 of my characters have ships, and I do the Space Combat Dailies with all of them. (This is my preferred grind, don't hate!) I notice that there are some very worthwhile hidden objectives, such as "Crippling the Republic Communications" on the Cartel Listening station mission, which nets you roughly 2.5k xp/credits. Because I spend a lot of time grinding these missions out, knowing where the hidden bonuses are would be a great boost in credits/xp for me. I ask you, can you list the ones you know? I know, so far (These are the Sith names): Cartel Listening Station : Cripple communications, tower sticking out at the bottom of the station. (This takes 20 missiles to destroy -- keep firing and you will get it! I have done this with level 11 characters with 0 upgrades.. so trust me) Nez Peron Sweep : Destroy the command center on the carrier Sarapin Assault : Destroy the command center on the carrier. List of bonuses, Credit DarthDemens. He has a list he keeps updated on page 2. As these bonuses are hidden in nature, this list is likely not complete. Edit to add: Some of them seem to have a level requirement. For example, I can get the bonus to destroy shield generators on a level 35 in Skaross, but not the Fighter bonus
  15. I *really* doubt it though, because i usually blow all 20 of my missiles on the escort mission on cruiser turrets (they give 20 xp each) and I destroy at least 40-50 fighters on that mission.. so it'd be about what, 700-800 xp of my rested being used? I think if it was then I would have noticed. But, as I said, I hadn't paid close attention so i'll test it later.
  16. No, but as you can check how much rested XP you have, it'd be as simple as checking to see if you have less rested XP than before you did the mission. I'd check, but I'm at work now.
  17. I don't remember exactly, but I took a different race for just about every class and I have every AC for sith. The only exception is that both my Agents are Chiss. My only human is my Sith Assassin, although my Mercenary Cyborg looks human enough to me..
  18. as for what borch said about rested XP being used when killing fighters.. I'll have to test tht. I don't think so, I mean I have 8 characters who always have a rested bonus and I spend almost 3 hours a day doing space missions.. but next time I play I will check. I'll actually check to see if any bonus xp is used after finishing a mission.
  19. I got all 8 of my characters to ship level so I can farm the space dailies every day with all of them. The bonus objectives do give you credits. Whenever you finish a bonus, hit enter to look at the chat log and see how many credits/xp you got. IIRC, the Jabiim escort (first sith space combat) is ~200 credits on the bonus. More importantly are the hidden bonuses though. On Cartel Listening station (sith, I think jedi one is called Balmora or Balosar) you can destroy the communications tower sticking out at the bottom of the station for about 2.5k xp and 3k credits (I might have these numbers switched). Note that it does not tell you you can do this, and these bonus objectives are complete-able once daily. To destroy the communications station, you require 20 missiles. You can do this with no upgrades, provide you use missiles ONLY on the comunnications station. The command station on carriers (looks like the 'Bridge') can also be destroyed on missions, it requires somewhere around 30 missiles so it can only be done with upgrades. The 4th and 5th space missions you get can do this. Although there are carriers in the first 2 missions, I have not found a way to be able to destroy the bridge on a carrier (simply not enough time to fire missiles at them).
