  1. I have run one dozen 65s through the star fortress of all six planets with the same guildie. Through the first few characters we probably each received a total of 8 or more bracers. It seemed like we saw at least one drop per run. We have not seen a single bracer on our last 6 or so characters doing these runs, when we actually noticed that they weren't dropping anymore. On another note, we received two walkers each.
  2. Nerf lowbies. My ungeared level 10-13's are way too powerful in the lil-lowbie bracket.
  3. Cross server warzones would help fix the perceived problem with premades. The real problem that causes this griping, other than folks who simply cry because they suck, is the low number of folks playing which makes you face the same opponents repeatedly in a gaming session. No one should cry about getting destroyed in one game in a night. If you can't stand seeing what you could potentially do with a better equipped character, more skill and teamwork, this probably isn't the game for you. But, when you face the same dominant players in match after match and your team just can't get it together, it's not fun. I do not for one second believe that solutions which penalize friends for playing together, by making them choose between playing with their friends against serious teams (even more often than they have to do now) or entering a queue without friends to increase the chance of facing scrubs, will help with the number of players in the warzones. I believe that this will reduce the number of players.
  4. I still like PvP and SWTOR, but I don't care to put as many hours into playing as I may have before as it's more of a routine than an interest at this point. I'm kind of waiting for something better to come along.
  5. I kill you all with my electronet spam. And, what's that about putting a saber in someone's box?
  6. The quickbar becomes unlocked over time while the icon is still showing that it is locked. This has been happening since the lock icon was returned to the quickbar.
  7. The medpac one gets me every time. I have to search my inventory to get a heal during PvE fights, after I finally remember why my WZ medpacs aren't working.
  8. I am guilty of almost all of these. Doesn't op mean overpowered, or original post?
  9. Wear a headband/tiara/invisible thing for the headslot. It will show your headslot item and remove the hood. (Edited..didn't see other headgear posts.) Some of the headpieces are practically invisible, or not noticeable, depending on your hairstyle, and I think there's a covert(?) headpiece that would be invisible.
  10. I find that the pool of players at 55 is a bit small right now so the odds of running against a very good team is higher than normal. That said, my PUG winning percentage is still close to 50%, so I don't understand all of the crying. If I group with one friend, I win more than half because he most likely replaced a bad random player, and, we have voice chat. If I hit a string of games against very good premades, or my team consistently has a large number of bad players, I'll just switch factions, or play in the lower bracket. server-Shadowlands
  11. I think it should be canceled on death just like regular buffs.
  12. 8021 is my biggest hit. Marauder smash on a sage. Fully optimized WH with a sprinkling of EWH items/components. Breaking 7k isn't uncommon, but I've only hit 8k this one time. Sin-mode
  13. Sniper/G'slinger is my only remaining advanced class, and smuggler is my last class story. Will be finished in time for 2.0! I agree. I think IA/Smuggler are the best stories.

    worst PvP ever

I am going to hit 50 with my final storyline this next weekend and I wanted to avoid WZs so I could enter a 50 match with valor rank 1.....just to aggravate folks like the OP. I couldn't resist and entered some lowbie WZs yesterday with a friend. Damn! lol "Grats on 50" is probably the only negative comment I've received regarding pvp gear on a new 50. If folks are making a reasonable effort to wear recruit and work up from there, and know how to play, my folks never have a problem with them. On the other hand, I do like landing 8k smashes with my marauder who has under 19k health.
  15. 13-14k+ health is good in lowbies and can be achieved with minimal effort and expense using modable gear with modifications purchased using planetary coms. With a crafter, it's easy to fill the gaps, or, make a few purchases on the GTN to make sure most/all of your gear is blue or better and within 3 levels or so of your character level. Also, make sure you remember to use relics. The easiest source is from the light/dark side vendors if you can't find better ones on the GTN or from loot drops/quest rewards. I usually gear up like this from the mid-30's onward. Of course, I have friends who push for 15-16k+ health with full augs, purple items, etc., but it's just not worth the effort to me.
  16. The players can solve their gear issues. The game has supplied the means to do so. Problem solved.
  17. Keybinding will help your game and, to answer your question, yes, it's worth it. That said, in regular warzones, since this game requires very little skill, there aren't all that many folks out there who can really take advantage of the fact that you're clicking. Actually, knowing what to do in a WZ makes a much bigger difference than how you do it. There are a lot of great suggestions, and very positive posts, here about how to learn keybinding so give it a few days and you'll catch on. If not, just have fun, you can do well enough to have a good time in regular WZs with clicking.
  18. If you want a pvp 'toon, you already have three of the best available. The jugger in smash spec and the vanguard in assault (or their mirror classes) are two of the most powerful classes in the game if you want to do a lot of damage and have an impact on your team's performance. The shadow can be about as powerful but will probably take a bit more effort. Honestly, if you like close fighting and can't have fun on these three classes, you probably won't like pvp in SWTOR. Or...you may find that they're just too easy to play and you're ready for a more challenging class. At first I thought this might be a troll post when I saw these three classes listed, but it looks like you tried to play them as full tanks and most people don't like tanking in PvP unless they're working/coordinating with friends. Also, if you're interested in an assassin, it's really the mirror class for your shadow and will play exactly the same....except it will have a much better class story as the consular class story was the absolute worst one in the game. lol I understand that you want to play the same spec from the beginning but there's really no reason not to try all three specs on a single character. They're all easy to learn. Practice with your daily PvE missions if you need to try it out before entering the WZs.
  19. Ditto many of those! And shout outs to those folks who stir it up in Ilum. It's been fun!
  20. My priority targets are usually opposing characters doing something related to a node.
