  1. I've been searching for this answer as well. My preferred companions are all ranged, so I've been waiting for this to get fixed before forging ahead.
  2. I picked up the game again* after a break of about a year a couple of days ago and saw this thread. Having nothing between “Luke Skywalker” and “Darth Vader” sized (say Harrison Ford or Jimmy Smits sized) male player character options has been, since launch, one of the most irritating things about the otherwise spectacular visuals for this game. (I spent so much time sight-seeing on Alderaan!) It’s not that I expect things to change at this late juncture, but I wanted the OP to know he’s not remotely alone, the shortcoming is real, and it’s been the primary reason I put down this game at several points since its launch; I currently have fifteen characters and it galls me each time I go through the character creator. *Light-side Jaesa romance
  3. Just thought I'd ask. The Blademaster’s Attenuated Lightsaber is my favorite in a while. It would be perfect if it were 25% to 30% shorter. And simple Jedi robes with the hood down that look like the top/tunic extends well below the waist paired with pants/leggings would be classic. You asked for suggestions so, just saying.
  4. I was wondering if anyone -- preferably a BioWare employee -- can tell me if there's an actual rationale for weapons tending to be outsized. The lightsaber hilts tend to be the size of riot batons while the movie props are modest inconspicuous flashlight sized. In the Dragon Age series there are swords the breadth of skis with pommels the size of grapefruit. Mass Effect has largely avoided this, but the one handed blaster pistols in this game can be the size of real world battle rifles and the assault canons are usually the size of tripod mounted crew served weapons. It *can't* be that the artists are oblivious. Why?
  5. Every couple of months or so I come back to this game for a few weeks and buy a hypercrate for resources to share among my several characters. This time, seeing there were changes I wasn't quite sure of, I bought a new supercrate of Anarchist packs (the vibrosword would be welcome for a certain companion). I wound up with nothing I wanted, nothing I could use, nothing I could sell on the GTN. I won't be repeating that mistake. You need to make another change to the packs. Outfitting characters is a great deal of the enjoyment I derive from this game and this flatly takes that away from me. I'll check back in a week or three to see what's what. I love Star Wars, but there are frustration free ways of enjoying it.
  6. I'll have to concur. These companion restrictions are nonsensical. *What* exactly was the thinking here?
  7. I have this blaster on a couple of my single pistol users currently. It's patterned after a classic wood stocked rifle with a magazine that extends below its receiver. It's a good "civilian" look.
  8. I've been in since launch and rarely post, but have been pretty appalled by most of the blaster designs; especially the pistols. There are perhaps three blaster pistols in the base game that I actually like. (And I'm still waiting for one that looks and is scaled like Han Solo's. Come on! That's a gimme! And where's a way to get Riggs "Flashy" pistol model outside of the Smuggler storyline?) That said, I like the two recent additions to the Cartel Market. And I'm *loving* the new Starfighter Pack's Interstellar Regulator's Blaster line, the pistols especially! Someone went all Mass Effect and it fits *so* much better than the crude bulky cylinders I too often see. I'm re-outfitting all my heavy armor wearing pistoleros with these as I can! Nicely done!
  9. I haven't checked on others, but I was three commendations shy yesterday and today it was gone. Fortunately, it was a nice, if disconcerting, change as I *just* found it in green quality but moddable in the Old Galactic Market's Bazaar for 850 credits, not commendations, making it much easier to acquire. Qyzen says it was a good hunt.
  10. It seems to have gone missing from the commendations shop on Coruscant as of v2.51. Has anyone seen one since? My latest Qyzen wants to know.
  11. If this issue isn't important to you, thanks for stopping and move on. Don't, however, presume to tell others to just suck up having their time wasted by fellow players who think they have license to meta-game their character's lack of ethics or civility. One should treat other players as you would if you had to work or live with them every day; with at least common courtesy. Living down to one's baser self due to Internet anonymity speaks volumes.
