  1. Easy solution. Don't queue if you're going to go AFK. And if you do go AFK take yourself out of queue. And they should introduce abandons without penalty for when there are AFK leavers or leavers in general during the first round. So the winning team still gets the win and rating boost and the losing team can "abandon without penalty". But it would be a timer thing right so it can't be abused.
  2. I think it's fair to say that there are bad players from either region. I imagine there are also a few good players. But I feel compelled to point that after coming across from my APAC server, the overall quality of play over here from warzone to warzone is quite low. That's really caused by a larger population and hence, a larger proportion of bad players. Not caused by the influx of APAC players because lets face it, compared to the total population we make up a really small percentage.
  3. Most if not all of Master Dar'Nala's PvP'ers have already stated that they are going to Bastion for more Ranked Pvp.
  4. You've lost the argument if you have to correct spelling and grammar.. This is all easily avoided if you stay out of that area until you are better geared/experienced if getting ganked is such a problem.
  5. As previously mentioned, where people go is really dependent on the style of play they prefer. At the moment I think it is fair to say that there are few guilds that actively participate in competitive PvP on Master Dar'Nala due to the state of the server. And if the major competitive scene for PvP is on the Bastion then it makes sense for those guilds to go there. On the other hand you have guilds such as <Nightmare Council> and others that are heavily PvE focused and dabble in PvP. It would make sense for these guilds to follow the majority of the APAC community to which ever server. At the moment this server seems to be the Harbinger but this could change. Higher population during our prime time would likely make it easier to find pugs for raids while PvP would still be available on the side. It's completely irrelevant if the top PvE guild is on another server. Finally, paid character transfers are scheduled to be released with the 2.2 update. So even if you choose to go to the 'wrong' server you will be able to switch later on. You also have the option of splitting your toons over both the Harbinger and the Bastion so you could have the best of both worlds.
  6. People that usually do this are just seeking a reaction from the people they team up on either in general chat or indeed the forums. Personally I wouldn't worry about it. There are only two quests in the open world PvP area. Just avoid those quests if it really bothers you. I'm sure they will get over not being able to 4 vs. 1 people in the open world PvP area
  7. Free transfers to U.S servers for players currently on APAC. Paid transfers for everyone else (i.e. People moving from Bastion to Harbinger etc.)
  8. You will only be able to move the number of toons that fit within the toon limit. The Harbinger only becomes 'unstable' during the NA prime time. There aren't any issues during ours. I have toons over there and haven't experienced any problems at all. If your name is already taken over there, you will be given a one time rename of your toon. You will be prompted to do this when you go to log into that particular toon.
  9. Tip: Read the Dev Tracker every now and then. Scroll down for the news on APAC. http://www.swtor.com/community/devtracker.php
  10. The consensus was the Harbinger. A lot of guilds had already decided to go there. This was more so confirming it.
  11. It's understandable that the APAC players that moved to Bastion early, back when our population problems first started, want us to go to the Bastion. It would be better however if we all stuck together and move to the one server. At the moment The Harbinger seems to be this server, which makes sense. It has a healthier population during our prime time, and ranked PvP will be more balanced, especially in regards to ping if all of APAC go there. It would be really silly to split the community.
