I agree with your post. The problem is that we are beating a dead horse. I, like most sages who are complaining, have unsubbed my sage's account and left the game. It appears Bioware has no plans on fixing the class by boosting dps so continuing to play a sage is a complete waste of time. I bet there are half the number of sages that were playing three months ago. The only people that will continue playing them (for pvp) are on crappy servers where they can do ok against crappy players. In skilled warzone settings there is no place for sages.

You must play on a HORRIBLE server if you can stick with marauders and most other classes. If you played with skilled players you wouldn't get within 50% of their damage. I play on The Fatman server and I've never seen a sage/sorc break 400k damage because we get targeted and killed within about 5-10 seconds of the action starting. It's easy to dominate against crappy players, but sage dps is nowhere near OK in competitive warzones.

^ This. Sages are so broken I switched to my shadow and now I eat sorcs for lunch because they are so pathetic and are nothing but free kills. I, like most melee classes, have just as much cc as sages and can easily run them down. All of the talk about los and don't backpedal doesn't work against skilled players.

Everything Fezikk said is true. On the best pvp server, The Fatman, sages don't stand a chance. If you duel a good player of any other class you will get owned. If you play against chumps it is easy to shine and think sages aren't the broken class they really are.
