  1. New Ability - In lieu of a new ability, Mercenaries will now have two charges on Rocket Out Play your own way, as long as it it PvP, which is the only place this is useful. Add me to the "Not Happy" list.
  2. Thanks! The items were there, scattered through lines and tabs of misc. junk. Now why didn't they tell me that?
  3. After patch 5.10.1, the armor shells that I had removed the 252 inserts from were missing from my inventory and cargo hold. I had kept them so that I could upgrade to 258, so I know that I did not sell them. Did anyone else have this happen? I have ticketed this item multiple times. The first time, I got the email that they set bonus now worked so the ticket was closed. The other two times, the ticket was just closed with no further communication. Is this also a common occurrence? This is very frustrating, as it means that I have to regrind everything since 5.10.
  4. If they stick to that AND if they do math to figure an appropriate number of points for a character to use that option to cap. They haven't exactly demonstrated that they are capable of the simple addition and multiplication necessary.

Which definitely makes it harder to get points on alts, but that's because we want you to play the game in the intended way, and play different activities and some of those things. So we play however they want us to, and what they want us to, or else? (Or else what? We take our money and go elsewhere?) I am not hopeful, but I am not unsubbing, yet. There will eventually be another Star Wars MMO. Disney will get tired of Bioware/EA's undermonitization of the IP and give the rights to another team. For that I am hopeful.   6. Pre-5.8, I would get somewhere between 2 and 12 characters capped, with a mix of fp, crafting, daily heroics, and maybe an op or two, depending on the week. The last two weeks, I got 2 characters capped. This week, 0. In the foreseeable future, 0. It is a grind. It is work. It is not fun. I will not "play" if it is work. I am logging into the game much less now--I am no longer logging in to run a fp at random times while taking a break from working. I loved the server merge because I would get instant pops on veteran fp in the middle of the day. Now, well, not so much. I can't afford the time waiting for a queue AND the time to run the fp. I love running fp in pugs--every one is different, even with the same content because the team is different. From the run-to-catch-up steamroller teams to the three-teammates-under-level-30-this-is-what-LOS-means teams. Why are you making it harder to run the content that I love? If you think that I should be PvPing, either make PvP matter in game--a small bonus to XP or CXP for the faction that wins a world PvP event, or quests or content that is only available to the winning faction (an entire planet that you can only get to if your faction wins in GSF?)--or make the bar to PvP competency lower. (I have gone looking for guides to PvP: guides, maps, objectives, etc. and found squat. Maybe make a non-PvP path to PvP armor?) And discourage the people who hang out on fleet and insult the players who don't PvP to their l33t standards? Expand what I love, don't make it hard for me to do what I currently love. Others have told you what needs to change to make the new conquest what it should have been. Remove the once/legacy lock and make the point values commensurate with the effort required to complete the objective, with a few things per week being worth far more to encourage that aspect of the game that week. Make it possible to cap a character if you can only play once or twice a week--because some of your players have other responsibilities that have to come before play-time. Locking them out of further content makes no sense. And the answer to another thread--what have I bought on the cartel market sale? NOTHING. I have a few alts that really, really need better looking armor, but I have no idea when I will be running them again. If ever. So, uh, thanks for saving me the money?
  7. But they aren't going to sell more stuff. Are you going to buy a set of armor for an alt that you don't play? I'm not. And I am happy with the appearance of my main's gear. So, no cartel market sales to me.
  8. I waited to finish the first week of the new Conquest before I posted. I managed to get 3 characters capped. All of them because of the bug that reset the once/day. Without that, I would have finished one, maybe. My normal minimum is 3-5. So, alt play is dead for the foreseeable future. Not only is this going to affect queue time as people do their one-and-done, it will also affect the cartel market. So they release an awesome armor set that would look fantastic on my juggernaut? Oh, well. I'm not playing her any more. A new saber for my assassin? Same thing. Repeat for all of my alts. This feels like Star Wars Galaxies, just before the NGE, when Sony stopped paying attention to their player base. That did not end well for them.
