Ok, first off, I am not in a top 10 guild with BiS gear. I am a med student in a pvp oriented/ casual raiding guild that likes to have some fun when I have the time. I love my bodyguard healer for the mechanics of the class.
I am not deeply saddened by the numbers, but the heat dissipation is painful. Pushing buttons is fun, healing scan, rapid scan, kolto shell, kolto missile, emergency scan. Spamming rapid shots is certainly not fun, nor is feeling useless in huttball because you can barely keep yourself alive let alone your buddies because you are in the red. This is a game with the intention of being fun. Can we not find a way to tweak the numbers without blowing our resource system to oblivion?
Reverting a few of the heat nerfs would go a long way to appeasing the majority of us whom just want to play a fun class. I am sure there are allot of people in elite guilds able to cope with the stress on heat consumption if everyone works perfectly in concert, but if someone stands in the wrong spot for slightly too long now, our time is limited due to the red bar of death. For the vast majority of our spec's playerbase the heat issues are too much (in PvP its unbearable, and most guilds raid execution is not 100% perfect).
I would be ecstatic with ScG to dissipate 16 heat and a slightly less expensive Kolto shell (say 8-10 heat?) to make it worthy to be cast again. Leave all percentages as they are, I would have a fun game again.
