  1. Lol, to be totally honest I didn't even think about the medical school -> heals connection when posting. Anywho, my post is only partially about the need to spam rapid shots when waiting for heat to dissipate. spamming it between big heals as a buffer is one thing, being forced into it because of bad mechanics is another. Also rapid shots cannot be cast upon myself (Only the devs know why, I could certainly shoot myself if I so chose), and the heat buildup from burst is the problem, not so much when "on the go". I want to have fun casting my spells rather than being forced into hitting a single button a thousand times hoping that its enough to keep the tank alive till I am able to cast again. Healing though burst damage is now extremely painful in both PvP and PvE, we cant get rid of the heat fast enough. With BiS gear people might not have such a huge problem (even less if they out-gear the content) as their numbers might squeeze them through, but your average player is in big trouble. Reverting some of the heat costs back and knocking / keeping the numbers would need work for them to find a balance they find fitting, but it would bring a little more fun and a little less stress into the situation of healing. Right now the resource system for merc healers is just a mess. It went from being moderately easy at staying at low heat to just about impossible if anyone gets focused in PvP, or a DPS stands in a circle. I do not think it was their intention to make us one shot wonders, saving one person temporarily in PvP just to stand and die five seconds later because your heat dump is on CD already.
  2. Ok, first off, I am not in a top 10 guild with BiS gear. I am a med student in a pvp oriented/ casual raiding guild that likes to have some fun when I have the time. I love my bodyguard healer for the mechanics of the class. I am not deeply saddened by the numbers, but the heat dissipation is painful. Pushing buttons is fun, healing scan, rapid scan, kolto shell, kolto missile, emergency scan. Spamming rapid shots is certainly not fun, nor is feeling useless in huttball because you can barely keep yourself alive let alone your buddies because you are in the red. This is a game with the intention of being fun. Can we not find a way to tweak the numbers without blowing our resource system to oblivion? Reverting a few of the heat nerfs would go a long way to appeasing the majority of us whom just want to play a fun class. I am sure there are allot of people in elite guilds able to cope with the stress on heat consumption if everyone works perfectly in concert, but if someone stands in the wrong spot for slightly too long now, our time is limited due to the red bar of death. For the vast majority of our spec's playerbase the heat issues are too much (in PvP its unbearable, and most guilds raid execution is not 100% perfect). I would be ecstatic with ScG to dissipate 16 heat and a slightly less expensive Kolto shell (say 8-10 heat?) to make it worthy to be cast again. Leave all percentages as they are, I would have a fun game again. Thankyou for your time. 8-)
  3. For the vibroknives and shotguns something needs to be done about this... I just broke down 34 knives trying to help out a friend and came here to complain about the RNG just to find out its a bug? This needs fixed NOW...
