Do you get dps or protective pvp gear? Cuz it looks like your abilities give you a tonne of survivability already. I was thinking of dps gear. YOur thoughts?

Ok, thx for that advice. And would going for dps gear over protective gear be better for a St/Pyro . Becaue you already have survivability and just want more dps? Also, should i use combustible or IOn chambers?

I am loving playing my POwerTech. I am only level 20 atm, but i am finding pvp a blast. I have been looking between going either of these builds for my lev 50 pvp spec. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#301bMZMsZfhMbdGhrs.1 and http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#301hRGbbRboZ0MZbIbbdh.1 If i went the build which focused in ShieldTech how much less damage would i do in pvp compared to a full pyro build. Because i was thinking of going ShieldTech, but with dps pvp gear. CAn someone explain to me how the damage would differ, and which is best?

What are you main abilities your spamming in pvp? What combos do you use?
