  1. How about MH and OH modular and the rest just visual? implants and earpieces would be shell for augments. Relics could be more specific, like get more thread from aoe attacks or do more damage on dots instead a chance in X seconds or activated. So relics will be relevant only when you're on a high level char with some sort of rotation. Imagine if you have a relic that make a single target heal to be used on a second target at X meters from the first one. Or a relic that prevent movement inpairing on a area. Instead mod, enhancement and barrel for general itemization, each piece should get a specifc part, like crystal and barrel or hilt with power and mastery, some mods on a weapon with accuracy or alacrity on a MH. Shield with slots for defense, shield and absorb. So you can customize your piece with specific itens and get the numbers minmax the way you want. Generators should give you the same level of customization. Crafters should be abble to fix things.
  2. I don't like the nerfs either, but for the easy content (single player) a good dps companion helps a lot. Besides that, if you're confortable with the hard content you probably know how to defend yourself while you're doing a pretty good dps. In pvp, most of the time I don't see the need to kill anyone as long as you have a dps near you. I know I'm over simplifying things here, but I don't know how you're playing. Most of us are confortable with the damage output, my complaining would be the spike damage we take or the delay on taunt.
  3. Most of the time it's the best tank, but you need to play it as a tank, not a dps. Move fast, use your dcd, guard someone, keep aggro and/or taunt the right targets.
  4. They say "the world bosses on ossus will now really award proper kill credit..." and I say 'No, it doesn't". Do I need to check what's wrong? Do I need to draw it for you?
  5. And you assuming they had it tested. Do you work at Bioware? You are also assuming that the bug wasn't reported. You can hug your beloved devs, I'll keep reporting here.
  6. They MUST play this game on live servers, not on their pink unicorn local servers. It's the same, did the droid and bug, get the credit and loot but no crystal. None of us get it. We did a second time, both bosses, then we get it. Btw, it's wasn't a vage statement. They know the issue, they think that it was fixed, but no. Should I draw it?
  7. If you don't kill quick...
  8. I must say crafters should repair armor using mats. Gold armor should be used for end-endgame. If you're doing dailies and do not care for the most difficult challenge, you should stay in 252. You'll do most of the damage and healing without spending a fortune in repairs.
  9. Casual groups will not be able to do nim ops, no matter how much perks you give them. The high end gear usually don't worth the trouble to get, if you don't do the hard stuff. I think it's best if there is options and a clear way to get them. Otherwise, just play as usual.
  10. Project Sav-Rak. There's a guide on Dulfy: http://dulfy.net/2012/04/16/flashpoint-guide-hardmode-lost-island/
  11. I wish that was true. Trust me, it isn't. On one run I was thrown away twice, in sequence. Imagine you're in the middle, as a healer, and got two kicks and die.
  12. Yes, It was 2013 or 2014. They've messed so bad on 'Terror from developers' that no one could get any reward or craft/collect anything. And that wasn't the best part because this was issued on primetime so, if you was in a operation, you could not go ahead in any point. The rollback came 2 hours later and everyone has lost all progress, reward, itens from a couple hours earlier. This was a official one, there were some ghost rollbacks a few years ago.

    Tank

Initiative. If you're the main tank you jump first, but you can talk with your team. You must know the way through flashpoints and operations. If you don't, ask someone for tips and don't run away like you knew what you're doing. Always turn the boss around, even if it's not necessary. If the boss has a cleave you spare the dps. You can resist but you must run away from aoe damage and spare the healers to save you from stupidity. Learn to use your defensive cooldowns, the healer may have some issues. Do some missions without a healer companion. Never start the fight with taunt, learn to build your threat without it (refer to initiative). If you're not on voice chat be sure no one is recharging or dead after every fight. Let your team recover before start the next fight. Guard the person who's threat is higher than yours, but pay attention because guard doesn't work at a certain distance. You must look first for melee or if someone's taking the boss from you. Play the game, perfection comes from practice.
  14. Not a item but, could we get the first blasters sounds (2011/2012) and the old project and forcequake animations?
  15. 1. Bind a key for 'nearest target'. It's on targeting section on keybinds in your preferences. And uncheck auto-target, that's the source for many mistakes. 2. Bind a key for attack and another from passive for your companion and make him attack the mob you're not on.
  16. Can you imagine turning screen up or down if you want to click something?
  17. Some companions are part of story, some of them give quests.
  18. Do you hit him while his ship is active and attacking? Or do you hit every time the turret is active (and he gets a shield)?
