  1. Is it a bug that the Unstable Peacemaker's Dualsaber is sheathed on the character's back? The hilt isn't that big; the thing looks awkward back there.
  2. That's not a "lightning stance", that's the stance for throwing your lightsaber. That's happened to my juggernauts and guardians several times over the years. It is annoying.
  3. Put a quick travel point and a cantina/bartender vendor in the Silent Sun cantina on Coruscant!
  4. I tell them to earn more credits and not be so stupid with their credits in the future. I recently sent all of my credits to one of my characters and wound up with over 460 million. While I did buy a few things included maxing out my fifth stronghold, I didn't become an idiot and foolishly reduce my balance to zero. If a player is so financially inept that they somehow lose sight of having a monobalance across all characters and bring down their balance, then that's on them. BioWare could introduce a tutorial, a pop up text block, and put the update in the patch notes, and people would still bankrupt themselves and blame EA/BioWare as if there was a gun to the player's head and they were forced to buy until they couldn't buy anymore. As for F2P and Preferred players, I wouldn't make it available to them. Make it a subscriber-only perk with no unlock token. If the subscriber goes Pref or F2P, their existing credits are divided among their existing characters with the remainder going into escrow.
  5. Fix the broken codex entries in the game so characters can have 100% codex completion! I'm obviously not suggesting that faction-specific and class-specific be made available to all; I don't want Sith Warriors and Smugglers to be able to get Darth Zash's codex entry or anything like that. I just want the currently-broken codex entries to be fixed so that every class can 100% every planet.
  6. I think it's time to introduce a legacy credit bank. All of the credits you have on your characters on a server should be pooled so that whichever character you're logged into should have access to all of the credits you've earned on that particular server. All credits you earn would automatically be put into that pool. It would save time that I see people spending logging in and out just to send credits.
  7. I know it only works for class missions + Makeb and all that, but I'm wondering more about the actual math about how it's factored with the guild bonus. Just so we're all on the same page, "base" will mean the regular experience you would get from a class quest if you were an unguilded subscriber and had turned off the bonus, 1.1 will refer to the max possible guild bonus, and 12 will obviously mean the class bonus. Is the formula like this? base * 1.1 * 12 or (base x 12) + (base x 1.1) or is it something else? I know there isn't a huge difference between the two, but that there is a difference is the point.
  8. Why wouldn't you believe that? I've quit a small guild just because it didn't have the 10% bonuses. I simply don't have the patience to stick around and help build a small guild into a large one.
  9. I am a sub, and I haven't had much chance to play or search for news lately. How long does this 12 xp thing last, and are there any links to prove it? EDIT: Nevermind, found it.
  10. There wasn't anything for the internet tough guys to make fun of.
  11. What's amusing is that every time I see this suggested, which isn't often because the forums annoy me, the same people who have replied here reply with the exact same reply. "You probably just not being creative enough." Way to go, smarmy keyboard warrior. Good luck with that complex you've got going. "I just got the names I wanted." Okay, well, your story isn't universal. Stop thinking that what happened for you, if it really did, will happen for everyone else. It's lazy thinking. A name purge would be very welcome by many players.
  12. Well over a year ago, I was lead to believe that I was going to be transferred to Europe by my employer. In my enthusiasm, I created two characters and leveled them to max level, then played a ton to earn what was the top gear for a level 55. I'm rather attached to these two characters and enjoy playing them. However, the employer transfer fell through. I settled into my new work schedule but found myself logging in to find that most of the server was going to bed just as I was getting home. Now I rarely get to play as these two characters in anything but solo content. Maybe I can get a group finder flashpoint or tactical going, but that's the most I can hope for unless I get to play on a weekend. What I'm asking for and suggesting is for the enabling of character transfers between North American and European servers. I would love to be able to play these characters like I used to. However, I'm not asking just for me. I have encountered a few players in the American military who would like the chance to transfer. I understand that this would cost Cartel Coins; I wouldn't even mind paying more than what a normal server transfer costs. Also, I am not asking because I have an entitled mentality or anything. I know that it was fairly unwise of me to create these two characters when my own status was up in the air.
  13. I totally agree with legacy ignore. I have stopped logging off on the fleet due to, upon logging in, having to ignore the same spambots on multiple characters. While this is a small peeve, it would also be nice to be able to not worry about having to deal with the guy who plays as a dps yet queues as a healer, the guy who queues as a tank yet has strength and cunning mods in his orange armor even though he's a soldier, the guy in the flashpoint who clicks need on loot because Qyzen absolutely needs that piece of aim gear, and the kid who just started playing last week and won't listen to you when you try to give him advice.
  14. I think he knows that names are important. That's why he's suggesting another name purge. He wouldn't be posting about it if he was some guy who hit random until he found something that wasn't taken. I'll bet you a million credits that you won't find those names. I'll win because you can only have one capital letter per name. I am totally in favor of another name purge. I tried to create a new character, and the name was taken. I resorted to using a special character for the name, and while it's okay, I would love to have the original name that I wanted. The name isn't in use because I added the person with the name to my friends list, and that character is a level 50 sentinel that was logged off on the fleet over a year ago. I checked another server in the same way and found the name taken by a level 1 bounty hunter. No one leaves a level 50 on the fleet for that long, and no one creates a character, logs out in the first few minutes of playing, and plans to come back to that character after over a year. However, unlike most of the people in this thread, I'm not trying to take my situation and make it sound like the norm. I'm not going to be smarmy internet guy and tell people to get more creative, either. I simply think that for many different reasons, there are a lot of players who are gone, aren't coming back, and won't even know or care if the name of a character in a game they don't play is taken. A second name purge would be welcome by me and many of the guildies I play with on two different servers.
  15. I would greatly like to see an option for players and companions that would cause sheathed weapons to be hidden. This is in response to all of the weapons that clip through robes/armor or, in some cases, bodies. On both of my inquisitors and warriors, Khem Val and Broonmark, respectively, have their weapons poking straight through their bodies! If implemented, this option could appear in the subsection where Hide Head Slot and Show Dark Side Corruption are.
  16. I would love to see six new holostatues added to the game. These would be statues that are specific to the six crafting skills (Artifice, Armormech, Armstech, Biochem, Synthweaving, Cybertech), one skill per statue. The statues would enable players to learn new schematics and improve their crafting skills while questing.
  17. I would like to see a refinement option when it comes to searching for schematics on the GTN. The option I desire is a filter that would weed out the schematics that you already know on that character. For example, wading through the multiple pages of unwanted Elegant Modified weapons is annoying. I would much rather see what schematics my crafters don't know so that I can spend less time at the GTN and be on my way quicker.
  18. A search function for collections would be a nice addition.
  19. I do the same thing. All of my mirror classes (Commando & Mercenary, Juggernaut & Guardian, etc.) have mirrored interfaces. However, even before I started using that system, this wasn't a problem. A quick glance at my icons and a little fighting some trash quickly gets me settled into my character and role. In regard to the original post, I wouldn't want matching icons at all. While I'm not a roleplayer in this game by any means, I think the icons add a bit of personality to the factions.
  20. I'm not sure what this post says. The English is a bit too broken for me to decipher.
  21. This is my first MMO, and while it took me a little while to get used to it, I did so because I realized that the answers to most of my questions were right in front of my face. I read everything, explored every menu, and learned to use my abilities as they came. All it takes is exposure, awareness, and the ability to think. The game is far easier than it was, what with xp boosts being common, comms easy to find and accumulate, and orange gear being super cheap.
  22. I'm currently playing as a 5/5/36 Lethality Sniper and am rather happy with it, and I'd like some advice on fine tuning her stats. At the moment, she's sitting at 98.73% Accuracy, 29.18% Critical Chance with the IA buff, 71.23% Critical Multiplier, 21.23% Surge Rating, and 108.73% Tech Accuracy. I've visited various sites and making note of the recommended numbers. The general consensus seems to state that Accuracy should be around 105% - 110%. My question about this is whether this is the Accuracy rating under the character sheet's Ranged tab or the Tech tab. Is it worth putting Accuracy augments into my gear to raise Accuracy, or should I just wait for better gear (my current rating is mostly 162 with a bit of 168/180) to raise that stat? Moreover, I'm not sure I fully understand Surge. I know what it does, but when a website recommends 75% Surge, does that mean my Surge Rating should be 75% or that my Critical multiplier stat should be 75%? I ask the same question about Surge augments here: install them or let better gear take care of it? Thanks for any reply and advice.
  23. My trooper on Nar Shaddaa is 19/22 in codex entries. I know the Bestiary and Species entries are bugged, but I'm missing a Lore entry and I don't know what it is. I have the entries for Data Slicing, Slave Trading on Nar Shaddaa, and The Spice Business. I have the entry for Karagga's statue, too but I don't think that counts. What am I missing?
