Hello! Im far from a Master of either the Light or Dark side but I feel Ive gathered a good understanding of the game ad have excellent Star Wars knowledge. (And what I don't know, Google does.) I play on the North American server Lord Ieldis but if you really wanted I could create a new character with you. I have both a Jedi and a Sith ready to go for helping either a new player or an already established character get up ad running and take them under my wing. As a Jedi I'm stereotypical. I'm a kind and selfless defender of the Republic and it's citizens. As a Sith I'm cruel, cold, and calculating. I never do anything that doesn't in some way benefit me. I have a large amount of lightside points just due to the simple fact of not wasting resources on my own sick pleasures. I hope to hear from someone soon, and as a side not, would really enjoy finding a female character to RP with as the dynamic would be much more fun for me, as either Jedi or Sith. Not really. There's general chat but everyone uses it for OOC talking. You can create your own channels if you meet other people though, or join theirs. You'll still witness the game's premade story for your character, but you can always ignore it and just RP whatever you want.

The best thing you can do is pick a RP server, make your character, hop into the game ad get into character. When you come across other players, speak as your character, not you. It might be awkward but the only way to learn is to do it and discover your own style.
