I meant to post it here at the time I took it, which would have been 12 days before patch 1.6, but I forgot... so this exploit was available for at least 12 whole days before something was done about it? But that's another matter, there are more than enough threads already about lack of bug fixes. Some "server firsts" on ECNiM might have to be looked at more closely And with the trainingstatue-companionenabling-heroicmoment-legacymoves exploit in operations? Ooft.

Yep, happened to both a story mode and hard mode simultaneously run by my guild, on TOFN.

Nothing in the patch notes about buying them through other means, but you could be right (i hope you are). In the patch notes it only describes the defensive/offensive/tactical upgrades you can buy for CCs. If they are available from other means like fleet comms then ok. But it doesn't say.
