I think a lot of people that are crying about the lack of solid answers need to take a lesson in reading between the lines.
I felt like he gave pretty solid answers.. In fact it was pretty clear to me that the:
Framerate issues, high priority
50% load, uber high priority
Charecter delay issues, high priority
Legacy, soon but lets get the high priority fixes done first
LFG, were not sure this is the road we want to go down, as such we have not even begun coding this type of system yet, so it will be a long time, if it ever materializes.
Housing/Ship - still figuring out how complex this should be, on the drawing board, going to happen, not being coded just yet but some parts of the tech might already be part of the existing codebase.
Need I go on? In public relations, for works in progress, you can never give straight forward answers, just look at any other field. For example, when was the last time you got a straight answer out of a politician? never.. because they know the consequences that come with drawing a line in the sand.
The trick is being able to read between the lines, and for god sakes, if you are so emotionally attached to this game that you are literally enraged by a feature, you need to step back and reflect on whats really important in your life.
As an example, I hate the sharding that they implemented, HATE it.. I used to love in WOW going into stormwind and seeing hundreds of people everywhere, it is what really made that game epic for me... this game doesnt have that epic feeling, but its still fun and I am enjoying it. If I lose interest in the game because of the lack of community that sharding a server causes, then they will lose a paying customer, and maybe if they lose enough, they will invest in tech that will eliminate the need for sharding, and if not, maybe the game will fail and everyone will go back to WOW.
One thing that you will be hard pressed to find me doing is crying because the feature that means the most to me is not the main priority of bioware nor will I be pissed off because they wont tell me what their main priority is, because I understand that no matter what their priority is, 2/3 of the community is going to be pissed off about it. Better to just keep that kind of thing private.
