  1. Haunt and deathfield are pretty much the same thing, if you think of what they do and don't do they both give health back and increase the damage your dots do. When I say castable dot, I only mean in the sense of how haunt was castable and not some aoe I had to drop on the floor. Perhaps I didn't explain myself well there, I was an affliction lock for years so I understand how the mechanic for it works. It would be lovely if we could place DF where we wanted it be before the CD was over for it,
  2. I know exactly what it does, I didn't say to change what it does just how its cast, its a constant problem in voidstar and while raiding. It can still do the exact same thing and be a castable dot instead. Yes you lose out on knocking people out but thats what our other aoe is for too.
  3. I have a general improvement I think that needs to be done to death field as a sith sorc maddness spec. The problem I find with this ability is when your in pvp say voidstar for example and you try to cast the ability with any of the bridges still up if your target is next to them you can't cast it unless they move away from the bridge wall. Also the fact that this has to be a castable/drop aoe on a 15 second cooldown makes for a nice waste of dpsing uptime while in a raid or in pvp. I really think it should be changed to a castable dot, almost like the way haunt works for an affliction warlock in wow. It can do the same thing but throw a 1.8 second cast time on it instead that works the same way, just my thoughts on the subject but I do think it would be a huge improvement for the play style of this spec.
