  1. So, for one of my first posts despite playing since December, I have to say I am happy to see no more "my server is empty" posts. I am also entertained to see so many "my server is too full" posts. I look forward to seeing the "my server is just right, but won't stay that way forever posts.". Perhaps one day I will see an "I am quitting and will no longer troll the forums of a game I no longer play" post, but I guess that's not likely.
  2. I suspect you are right about your settings not registering properly. Before some of the more recent patches, I was having an issue where I would get stripes across the floors and walls with shadows on high. Changing any setting and changing it back corrected the problem for a few minutes, I think because the textures etc. were reloaded. After a few minutes, the problem returned. One of the later patches fixed the issue, but I suspect you may have been having a similar issue.
  3. I only gave it a quick 5 minute run through, but it seems that patch 1.1 may have corrected the issue. For the 4 of us who appear to have this issue, I will drop another update if I am wrong.
  4. My understanding is that at present set point software cannot auto switch to SWTOR. You need to manually change to the SWTOR profile. It's a bit annoying, but works fine. EDIT: I was referring to the G700. Not sure if the issue is the same with the 500.
  5. Now that search works, I can find my thread! I have found that shadows on high causes the issues. Turning them to low corrects it. It is only the interior shadows that seem to be an issue. Subsequent patches to no avail. Anybody else having a zebra stripe issue with shadows on high in interior spaces?
  6. Following the 1.01 patch, I have noticed artifacting while inside caves, jedi temple, or other darkly lit areas. Generally, it is black stripes on floor and walls, although square and boxy shadows are also an isssue. I am running dual HD4850s 1 gig in cross fire on Windows 7 64-bit. All drivers are up to date. I do not have the issue in other games. I know there are several possible causes for this problem, including card overheat. Before I start fiddling with my settings, I was wondering if anybody else was having this problem or if it is just me. That would help to diagnose the source.
