  1. Exactly, they dont affect the game at all. If you have a problem with an ability of another class it should be for a justifiable reason. The laugh is just there to be fun. If your gonna nerf them to the ground at least dont remove the fun involved from a little sound effect.
  2. They're man children focused on trying to balance everything to a razors edge. When someone makes a comment about something fun, their brains short out and they revert to their programing.
  3. Once again we are getting off track, why are they nerfing a sound effect? It doesn't harm anyone and makes the class, subjectively, more fun to play.
  4. My comment wasn't about balance it was about a giggle effect that tactical advantage grants.
  5. Did that have anything to do with what I just said?
  6. I dont care what you do to the class just dont take away the giggle. It doesn't harm anyone and offers nothing in the way of balance. Why are you getting rid of it?
  7. You know what pisses me off most? You wont giggle when you get tactical advantage. Who the **** does that hurt? It makes the class subjectively funner and doesn't affect balance at all. Do they want to nerf fun just for ***** and giggles?
  8. They know its bull(poop), but so much of the way the system works hinges on it. A marauder with full resolve and a marauder with no resolve are very different beasts. If they got rid of it it would mean on overhaul to the system and those are man hours lost that could be invested in ignoring your player base or making false promises.
  9. I wouldn't worry about it they are introducing ranked pvp soon, everyone is gonna have their *** in the skillet. We are gonna see people exploit the **** out of classes and bioware will either respond or die. Sorcs time is nearing its end, they'll either nerf its utility or some other composition will outshine them so hard that people wont even notice them anymore.
  10. If they add a combat log we sould be able to call them on their bull(poop_) though, as far as I'm concerned it was a planned move to hide how incompetent they are.
  11. I was playing huttball one time and some dude passed me to the ball as I hit cloaking screen and was stealthed while in possession of the ball. Did I run over and cap? yes I did. I could hear them whine over general chat, it was funny.
  12. ^this^ Though, the game depends on force users to have any sort of way to game the pit. If its purely pugs, the team with the most warriors or inquisitors wins... Probably should have thought to put more utility/ mobilty for a larger array before implementing a warzone that only a select few can excel at.
  13. That is a horrible rotation, do you just kill a dude and hide in a corner for 2 mins? Acid blade> Hidden strike> shiv (allows acid blade to tick) > acid blade >back stab (if you have any alacrity at all they will still be getting up) >lacerate >lacerate>lacerate (it should proc at least once if not ignore)> {debilitate (if needed)> acid blade > backstab > shiv lacerate} or {shiv >lacerate >blast} If they aint dead cloaking screen> {step 1} or {get away cause they have heals} You will take some damage from combat (imagine that) but your less likely to use longer CD's and you get more time to pvp rather than hide in a corner.
  14. Sprint is all you need friend, its like you feel entitled to have everything. The comment in question was in relation to your survivability and you've proven that you can endure/get away just fine. Every class has a weakness and just because you cant do your optimal rotation on the run doesn't mean crap.
  15. The sheer amount of utility the class has should make up for being "soft". Mind you Sorcs have the best CC, best mitigation (yea the shield counts), best mobility, best heals and some of the best sustained dmg in the game. If anything the fact that you take a little more dmg from kinetic attacks just isn't enough.
