  1. For those comparing VR to 3DTVs, you're clearly completely clueless to what VR is capable of. You probably shouldn't even be commenting on it unless you've experienced the Oculus CV1 or HTC Vive. Even then, it's only going to get better as the technology progresses. Exploring the Star Wars universe in VR? Personally, I can't wait.
  2. my guesses: - subscribers get a 10% discount on cartel market items - subscribers get an optional boost to their companion power (4.0 levels) - subscribers gain access to KotFE chapters 1 day earlier
  3. Check out Lost Stars by Claudia Gray. She knows how to write a great Star Wars story.
  4. Rakata Prime is now cannon, according to the latest released galaxy map.
  5. Can you at least change the "story" star fortress quests to be completable in solo mode?
  6. Leveling on Hoth and picked up all the heroics. Yep, they are still doable, but way too time consuming now, and not fun. I don't want to have to sit and heal between every trash pull. It's frustrating, it's boring, it makes me want to play something else. The elite crowd here can go do ops if they want "challenge". The companion healing is irrelevant there.

  8. It would also make the rep grind a little more bearable if we could bring 2 companions into the solo flashpoints for conversations based gains.
  9. Agreed 100% My wife is definitely what I'd consider a "casual". She really has no interest in reading class guides, optimizing stats, farming the best gear, optimizing rotations..etc. She doesn't care about the "challenge". She plays because she loves Star Wars and wants to experience the story and have "fun". When 4.0 dropped she subscribed back up immediately (she hasn't been subscribed since the game originally came out). She no longer had to slog through endless trash mobs, having to stop and heal between each fight, slowly grinding away... She could just...play and enjoy the story. Why does the hardcore crowd feel like is unacceptable? She has now lost interest in playing. We'll definitely be keeping an eye on future patches though. I don't expect companions to come back to the levels they were at in 4.0, but a halfway point would be acceptable.
  10. It would sure be nice to have PTR servers where we could all actually test out these changes and have discussions before they go live. Bioware could then tweak the numbers up and down and see what the feedback is like. This makes sense, so it will never happen.
  11. When doing those solo flashpoints you give us that combat droid, which is nice, but how about just letting us summon a 2nd companion instead? It would be awesome being able to summon a healer and tank companion, while handling dmg yourself, or whatever combo. Now with the healing nerfs, would it be possible to get that combat support droid (or 2nd summoned companion) when doing the Heroic Star Fortress flashpoints?
  12. Thanks, guys. It's a shame they pretty much killed off the multiplayer questing. I don't mind questing alone, but my wife really only enjoys playing when I play. Perhaps with the overpowered companions she'll be able to push her way through it without getting frustrated. Sadly, I think she'll just end up cancelling.
  13. My wife and I enjoy questing together. We haven't tried any of the content past the base game, but I read in another thread that group questing in SoR was painful because you had to repeat the quests for each player to get credit. So we're not really looking forward to that. So how is KotFE for group questing... same as SoR?
