  1. IMO you will see a constant flow of players playing this game for a short period of time then unsubbing.

Its weird becuase I would rate the game as 9/10 overall but I just cant give a reason to stay with it in the end game.

I know 4 people who ahve taken the same approach as me. unsubbed for now - hope it gives us more later. Im not saying those 4 people represent teh views of everyone, but it must reflect some portion of us right ?

  2. Im in the Unsubbed club.

But i dont feel hate for the game and I dont feel ripped off. The playthrough and the small amount of content was worth the few Euros.

I still reccomend SWTOR to my friends, but i warn them it just isnt a long term thing.

SWTOR is like a nice girl you date but never think about marrying.

  3. My guess is that there are alot of people, like me, who currently have game time left, but have unsubbed.

I dont hate this game, its just not game you can play for more than a short while.

I was one of those people raving about the game and saying "ill never unsub". Then I hit the end-game and changed my mind.

Still, I think the purchase price and months sub was well worth the money. I enjoyed the game until I ran out of things to do.

  4. Just some buffs like you get in WoW from specific crafting skills. So you can add a buff to say to your bracers, belt, LS/Gun. This could even be via adding a new armouring slot to them.

So Synthwaeve gets an extra slot on belt. Armour gets it on bracer, Armstech get it on guns/weapons.

A simple way to make them viable.

OR just give them some decent craftable items!! :D

  5. can't say i notice much of a graphical difference with it on. with the graphics stuck on medium settings despite being set to high it already looks bad i guess.

Its not working. Try Doing AA through your own GFX settings. I did that and the game graphics are much, much better.

  6. The Option should be there!! Under Graphics with all teh other tick boxes!

However, I would reccomend to anyone to just force the AA setting from your GFX card as The Star Wars one is utter crap.

  7. I'm just reporting an answer from Bioware's customer support, but honestly, people with this issue have been reporting eyes hurting, headaches and migraines all day long.

So imma go on a limb and not take any chances.

I think you should all go to the doctors. If minor flickering in a game can give you Migraines and sore eys then you have something wrong with you.

  8. This is so not true at all. If the flickering is causing you serious problems, then you likely have an underlying condition.

A computer screen does not damage your eyes; that is not the reason you take breaks. You take breaks because prolonged periods of extreme concentration can be stressful. The same break periods are reccomended if you are studying for exams or Driving a car.

Specifcally talking about games, the strain on your eyes is far less than typing an essay or reading a book. For the most part, you are just lazyly processing images (like watching a movie).

  9. Please stop calling every problem a bug. A bug, imo, is something that is just slightly broken or not working as intended. I can live with bugs; they happen. Im a subcriber who plans to stay on board for a long time. Im not trying to rubbish the game, but it annoys me when people try to hide Incompetence with the Word "Bug".

Terrible UI is NOT a bug.

Terrible GTN is NOT a bug.

Imbalances in PvP is NOT a bug.

Hilariously bad GfX options are NOT Bugs.

Woeful chat interaction is NOT a bug.

Lack of grouping tools is NOT a bug.

TLDR - Design Choices are not "Bugs"

  10. My guess is multiplayer Space combat but still restricted with rails. Each player has to complete certain 'goals' so that the overall mission succeeds. It could be one player has to nuke a certain target while his teammates protect his ***. You could have multiple players on different 'Rails' around a big base trying to kill it. Things like that.

That's not what I want to see, but its what I think we will see.
