  1. Eric Musco is the Sean Spicer of SWTOR! Put on that brave face, gobble some Tums and face the raging throng. We know these things aren't Mr. Musco's fault, but it is the job description. I feel for him, but his is the only face we often see doing anything at all to show us that someone still turns off the lights on their way out at the end of the day.
  2. No flaming from me. That represents quite a bit of actual cash. Ouch! Here's the thing. Sell those hypercrates to some other poor sap with more money than sense, then buy the item you want on the GTN. Otherwise, I fear disappointment may become your constant companion and that would reek. :(

Starting this off when the Senya sabers hit the Cartel Pack (otherwise known as BW ripoffs) I spent 12000+ cartel coins getting 52 packs

Guess how many Senya sabers I got from 52 packs, you guessed it NONE

So of course I said, "Im done if it aint a solo item I aint buying anymore of those jip boxes"

So i did today, shame on me, I only play Imp, I got 10 count em ten Assault canon's all the silver ones, I got 2 supplemental armors and two lowers. A crap load of decorations and a crap load of emotes and a crap load of gifts.

I mean it this time I done.

ALL I WANT IS THE ARMORS AND BW QUIT SELLING THE GOLD ARMOR PACKS!

Just venting somewhere and Im going to get flamed I already know that

  3. Well, I say just give it time. The utter disdain that SWTOR currently has for raid groups will make it possible for you to buy it on the Cartel Market soon. Same item in 10 different colors and you will have to pay Cartel Coins to unlock each minor variant.

Should you get one without NM OPs? No, not really. But considering those achievements have been watered down and made meaningless. Hey why not? Hell, you should just get every item in-game just for logging on and standing around drooling on yourself on fleet. /s

This implant needs the correct icon. It is NOT an earpiece. I have put in bug reports for this for YEARS now. How difficult is to correct?

This is why players lose faith in SWTOR. The simple things that drive us all insane in the lack of attention to detail. Are there bigger problems? YES! But NOTHING should go for this long without correction.

  5. All this white knighting is making me vomit in my mouth. I'm a 5 yr veteran who has paid thousands of real dollars supporting this game. I have unlocked all the crystals and tuning I use. And they just bricked my legacy weapons?!? It will be a cold day on a sun reactor before I pay another nickel to the cartel market. Way to lump honest players in with exploiters....AGAIN!!!

I will use crafteds, freebies and Eternal Championship crystals before I ever support this money grab. You always manage to fix items that cost you, but leave things broken for months and YEARS then dump a load of bantha poodoo on your players and act like we should be grateful.

No way I'm paying to remove a crystal I have account unlocked in order to move mods around. Nope, Nope, NOPE! I'm keeping my credits AND my real money in my pocket from now on!

  6. Checked my mail today and all my pieces were returned. According to CS message, it WAS possible for them to do their research and check the log. I am happy to get my mods back (and then some, they even returned the augment kits, which I did not actually need). I am grateful to CS for addressing it, even if it is not acknowledged. So now, if CS directs you to this thread, then just direct them to this post.

For anyone still waiting. Put in the ticket and don't give up. They ARE working on it.

Glad to have resolution, but would like to see everyone report in that they too have been compensated.

  7. Clearly... CS relies on guidance from the studio on things like this. So far, they appear to be getting bad guidance.

The studio (hey Eric.. chop chop!) needs to clearly communicate with both CS and the players as to how missing mods, dyes, augs, are to be remedied. Sometimes they leave it to CS to handle case by case, sometimes when it is wide spread... the studio will run a backend process to correct and issue missing items. Either way.. the studio needs to be the traffic cop here rather then letting CS and players get into a circular ticket exercise.

Yeah, they really do. So far all we have is crickets with no acknowledgement at all. At least my second ticket has not been closed. I have hope someone will actually listen to us.

  8. I sent a reply to what I'm assuming is a stock reply on the issue. Do I need to open a new ticket or is the e-mail reply good enough?

"I was sorry to hear you were missing these items, it's something we have seen a lot of contact on over the past few days and we've reached out to the studio for clarification. Currently it seems that all items were returned correctly however you may need to search for them in various bays, the link below will provide you with the official statement and information on this one to date:"

Re-write your ticket. They are still telling us all we are just too dense to find the items in our Legacy Hold, Cargo Hold or Inventory of first logged toon post-patch. They are refusing to acknowledge that this is a coding error on their part. Tell them exactly how many mods and enhancements are missing and the level of those items. Don't let them keep dismissing all our complaints on this same issue.

  9. Then I would urge you to re-write the ticket, only this time, be very clear and concise, and as detailed as you can possibly get. Quote the previous ticket response as well (I find that helps). Explain, calmly and politely what you had, where it should have ended up, and why it didn't end up where it was supposed to go. It's about all you can do, really. As Andryah had mentioned before, this isn't exactly game-breaking and you do have the armor in your possession again, and are free to re-load it with replacement mods and enhancements in the meantime while the ticket works to get resolved. I certainly hope those mods and enhancements get returned to you though.

I have re-written the ticket and phoned CS, who were much more helpful than the naysayers on this board. Game-breaking or not, it was poorly executed and originally treated in a lazy and dismissive way by CS.

And just sayin' - I don't care if human automatrons don't like it when actual humans display emotion or passion. (See Sith Code for reference).

  10. No, you cannot confirm the second bit.

I had the armor in Legacy bank and it moved to 2 different tabs and all mods and augment are gone, despite of having plenty of room for them.

Agreeing. I had room for the mods and enhancements in other Legacy Tabs, but they were not moved to those empty spaces from the first tab. They just ceased to exist. The coding was in error.

  11. Ok, I thought the items might be as well spread randomly in the legacy cargo. I heard already people complaining the armor set was entirely gone and in reality it was just spread in different slots in the legacy cargo. Not applying to the mods/enhancements?

No, they are not spread out in our Legacy hold, cargo hold or inventory. They are just missing entirely. I am missing 7 224 mods and 7 224 enhancements as is my guildmate in the same situation. We have looked where they are supposed to be and they are NOT there.

There was only room in that Legacy Tab for the DvL updated set pcs and the augments that were returned. The other pcs are not in any other Legacy tab, or anywhere else. They just destroyed them. 14 pcs in total for me.

And CS was directing people to Musco's response and closing our tickets despite the fact that it is WRONG.

  12. Remove or change this post. I also did not receive the mods and dyes that were on my dvl armor within my legacy bank. Customer Support is pointing to your post as "evidence" that I would have gotten my mods/enahcements/dyes back when that clearly did not happen. As for space, I had 2 empty rows directly below the dvl armor. They were empty with the new dvl armor as well.

Exactly as you say, CS pointed to THIS post as proof that we did not lose our mods and enhancements. It is NOT accurate and very patronizing. Devs, you need to acknowledge the problem and tell us how you intend to fix it.

  13. Unfortunately, this isn't entirely accurate... I also am one of those people who had their armor stored in the Legacy Bank. I found all the armor and augments spread across tabs 2 and 3 of my legacy bank, but NONE of the mods or enhancements were anywhere to be found, and I had plenty of available slots in my remaining legacy tabs for the items... They weren't in my inventory, or anywhere in either bank (cargo hold or legacy bank).

Do we need to make a ticket to get these items replaced?

IF you do make a ticket, like I did, they will condescendingly respond that it IS there and you are just too blind to see it and then CLOSE your ticket. (Insert a few choice epithets here)

  14. not really obsolete, the 224 mods are level 65. 228s require higher levels. Unless they added new level 65 stuff, it was BIS for that level and cannot be replaced at this point in time.

I put 224 mods/enh in the gear and used them on all my 65s to get to 70 before upgrading.

This is how most players used their sets, for the XP gain, to make the march from 65 to 70. How this is beyond the understanding of the obtuse few who insist on responding is beyond me. I don't give a crap about the armor mitigation, it was for the XP boost. But regardless of what I used it for, missing mods are still MISSING. I have a hard time believing this was an intentional result; therefore, it is an unintended result and most likely, a poorly tested result. That is what I am complaining about. The continuous untested and unintended results that are damaging to the player experience. That is just a fact.

  15. Armor was returned to the 1st tab of the legacy bank, but none of the mods / enhancements were returned. There would have only been 2 free slots available after the armor was returned, so the pieces would not have all fit. There was room in several other tabs, but not enough to hold all of the pieces in one tab except for tab 6. These were predominately 224 mods / enhancements which now can't be replaced without them being returned.

Exactly the same scenario for my set. Only set pcs and augments returned, no more room in that tab, no return of mods or enhancements to any other Legacy hold tab. *bump* for the same type problem.

  16. Calm down. Many players appear to have not had the issue you have. Some clearly did. So NO.. they did not "punish everyone". They actually added more functionality and flexibility with the changes to this set, then we had before the patch.

Open a ticket requesting them to replace your missing mods..... simple as that. Throwing a tantrum in the forum is not going to get your problem resolved.

If CS sees lots of tickets for this.. they will escalate to the studio who in turn will probably do what they usually do.. run a background script to check each account and replace mission components that are missing.

First of all, it's THAN we had before the patch.

Secondly, this is 5 yrs for me of their patching, so no, I will not calm down. Ticket is already submitted.

And yes, it is the USUAL. Veteran players are well aware of the behavior pattern in dealing with problems. Overkill. Massive amounts of unnecessary overkill.

  17. Bad news for you. That wasn't intended use of armor set.

Armor pieces had default armor rating of 128 (level 50). Even with armor rating of 160 it's still below stats level 65 could get from better armorings.

I also "lost" set on both servers I have it a few weeks ago. I "lost" them because I couldn't figure out in character selection screen which character has the set because of selected outfit. So, I just had to go through all of the low level characters I have to find them.

Leveling toons is indeed the intended use or it would not have had empty mod and enhancement slots.

  18. No, they aren't in our Legacy bank, no they are not in our inventory, some people are missing expensive dye pack, or worst of all - the ENTIRE set of DvL armor.

As usual, you punish EVERYONE for what a few may have discovered as a way to accelerate ranks in PvP.

As one who used the set as intended with my 65s, I am sick and tired of your burning down the house to deal with a rodent infestation. Those 224 mods and enhancements weren't just vendor fodder, they were hours of Operations with my team.

When exactly did you lose all respect for your player base and begin to view us all as adversaries to be subjugated without input on the damage you cause to player morale?

WHEN are you gonna acknowledge and address our concern? People had to grind for MONTHS for that set and have now lost valuable mods and you just pinned a patronizing post about how we just aren't looking in the right place? WOW! Just WOW!
