I have recently read a few threads in which people have provided qualitatively reasoned opinions concerning the entertainment value of Star Wars: The Old Republic. Usually, these discussions have centered around the pitfalls of standard MMO's fetch quests, the sense of barren worlds, and the great effort which must be expended by some players after level 30 to continue on. I, myself, was pleased to discover others' perspectives were similar to mine and was even provided the helpful suggestion of spreading out and limiting play time so that I may better enjoy the game.
My concern arises, as I'm sure you have surmised from this thread's title, because Bioware has rapidly (usually within less than 30 minutes) closed all threads negatively criticizing The Old Republic. Usually, their reason was provided as the last post with a cheerful, oximoronic admonition for incivility, misplaced thread publishing, or even that such a conversation between users was not related to Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Such regulation is really out of place in the 21st century, and it should be obvious both to Bioware staff and consumers that these actions rarely elicit anything but further regress.
I have posted this complaint here in General Discussion and not in a section for suggestions, because I wish to test Bioware's censorship and act for a less trimmed forum.
I love Bioware's previous titles (minus DA:II), I love Star Wars (all of it), I love gaming ('part from MMO's usually). I do not love the repression of reasoned discourse.
