Just my 2 cents, for all the whining about a surge nerf, if a class's damage is nerfed and it's representation or playstyle drops to the point of being a non-factor, then there was something fundamentally wrong with how the class was designed. I still run into GOOD operatives, it appears that just the bad ones have moved on.

     

    Rethink your paradigm, that's the way you'll get out of the situation.

     

    im a scoundrel but i look at both forums, i agree with what youve said there are good scoundrels/operatives out there. But we shouldnt be the only class that requires alot of effort, strategy, and skill to play. They all should be hard to master in my opinion, at least when you die by someone who is actually good then you can say, well i need to get better. What pisses us off is the fact that other classes can basically smash there face on the damn keyboard and put out the same amount of damage. we have 0 utility compared to other classes, and lets face it our sheild sucks balls.

  2. I had War Hero 4 days before the update ill be 80 valro faster than 60-70 was which is kind of cool i guess. Valor rank doesnt mean anything after 1.2 anyways, all war hero gear will obtained through ranked warzone commendations, regardless of valor level you can get this gear. kinda mad theres so many war heros running around now though not even fun to wear the title now.
  3. I totally agree. I just deleted my lvl 14. That was 15 hours of wasted time. This class needs some AoEs as its single target is garbage. Maybe if Bioware would bracket off the PvP, some classes with less than desired defense wouldn't get ***** 24/7 and some of us might be able to actually enjoy playing them.

     

    your *********** level 14 of course its not good yet! get to level 50 then get good gear it makes a huge difference HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE consulars are amazing healers for pvp and they do alot of damage ive seen 500k+ damage and 600k+ healing

  4. snare needs to not be taken out but it needs to have some diminishing returns and not last so long, a 1-2 second snare is fine, but a 3-5 second snare is not.

     

    there is a fine line and BW does not get "balance" yet

     

    For example and I will give you two

     

    Scoundrals that, when I approch them kick me and knock me back, ok that is fine, but on top of the knock back I am snared too boot!, and its not like ohh i knocked you down, I mean the kick is a huge kick, far away, and since he has a shield up I can not force charge or jump at him so, he can DPS me down pretty quick before I can do really anything.

     

    Most other classes, commandos have the ability to do a package knockback that snares when you get up.

     

    Hate, hate , hate that crap

     

    I can handle one but not both.

     

    your talking about gunslingers not scoundrels our kick doesnt knock you back at all, and were melee;)

  5. first off get your facts straight we have 1 cc that works out of stealth, 1 stun which is the ball kick. one cc in stealth (the target has to be out of combat) and our shootfirst knock down which is also from stealth and doesnt even last long. the 2 out of stealth the kick is 45 seconds and the one actual cc we have is one min cooldown. EVERYCLASS has just as many and sages/sorc have 2 that can be used in combat and there jump knockback that holds you in place? is like the shortest fking CD ive ever seen. I dont know what class you are but play a scoundrel first before you complain were super squishy out of stealth and we have the worst shields in the game.
  6. Surrender seems a little bit unresponsive. I had to use it a couple of times during Soa in HM EV, and he dropped agro after hitting me twice after I surrendered.

     

    Honestly wouldn't be an issue if he didn't randomly switch agro to begin with, but it doesn't help that our drop threat ability isn't working to spec either.

     

    same thing happens to me with Soa he just loves to do it right when the pyramids about to drop...

  7. Uhh no. The pop limit on Ilum instances is like 70.

    When I log into my repub character, you guys have the same amount.

     

    not on darth malak server the imps have 2 ops group at some times and we can barely pull 15 on a random weekday so we just let em come to us and now em down with our turrents. server is about 4:1 ratio imps outnumber of course

Its not even that hard to get pvp gear. expertise is fine tbh it isnt even the expertise that was giving us BMs the big crits is was the surge that was provided in champion gear and bm implants which they dimenished this morning. A 12% damage increase and damage reduction from expertise wont save you if your bad, its nice if your good though lol. But im glad i get something useful for getting all that valor for. And your argument was that pvpers dont do raids? actually alot of us do infact since the bonuses on some pve gear mixed with pvp gear are actually better than having max expertise. for example have 2 columi or rakata peices added to my gear gives me a 15% cit chance inc on my back blast ability, which i use quite often. id rather have that that the extra expertise. So its still worth it to Pve, plus its alot of fun also cause 3 WZ's atm get boring as hell. And it doesnt take long to get geared in pvp at all so i dont see what the big deal is.

     

    Id much rather bioware fix all the exploits in pvp currently then worry about something stupid liek this.

  9. battlemaster wasnt particularly hard to get just took time. im currently 62 valor i wouldnt mind getting 70 for another teir set, even if it wasnt that much better than BM but they actually took the time to make it appealing to the eye.
