  1. I want to try a Merc but am worried that I'll be expected to heal the party when grouping. I want to be pure DPS, do DPS mercs have problems getting in groups?
  2. Thanks for the response guys, I'd just like to clear a couple of things up: What is meant by MOST OP CDs, I'm guessing overpowered cooldowns? What does FOTM stand for? Sorry but I don't know all the terminology.
  3. I was going to start a thread with the exact same title but since this one is here: Are Maurauders too squishy or are they ok? Which class uses less abilities in their rotation or are they similar, I read in an earlier post that Maurauders are a little harder to play than Juggs? Which class has the most abilities with cooldowns and which have the longest cooldowns?
  4. Yes, I've been trying things all day. I have to put a 0.50 sec delay after taking cover, so that the first ability fires off (for this particular Macro, I start with taking cover as the first action), then with instant abilities I've put a 1.50 sec delay after them, otherwise the next doesn't fire because of the global cooldown and with the charged attack (takes 1.50 secs), it seems that adding a 1.50 sec (just 1.50 secs, not 1.50 for the charge up and 1.50 secs for the global cool down) delay after it is ok. The only problem is that when an enemy is killed and it quickly switches to the next enemy, the following ability after the one that killed the target is skipped and the sequence goes on to the next ability.

Thank you but if I don't put at least a 1.5 sec delay after each ability, the following ability doesn't fire or do you mean don't increase the delay to 1.6 secs for the charged attack, i.e. keep it at 1.5 secs? Just a thought, surely if BW were to ban all players who used Macros then the game would shut down pretty fast.
  6. Are you suggesting that BW doesn't allow macro useage? This seems very strange to me, if true. Considering I use a Razer Naga, made by the same company that sells a mouse dedicated to SWTOR, which they obviously have permission to make/sell.
  7. Should I add a delay of 1.5 secs (same as global cooldown) or a little more, say 1.6 secs between each ability activation? The reason I ask is because with charged abilities, it seems you have to add a little extra, I'm playing a Smuggler and I had to put a delay of 1.6 secs after Charged Burst, because when I put a 1.5 secs delay (which is its actual charge up time) the next ability wouldn't fire.

  9. Thanks guys, just one other thing how do you actually receive a pass or pick up the ball if it's been thrown into an open space, is it automatically picked up just by moving over the ball or getting near to it?
  10. Just played Hutt Ball and during the game, got posession of the ball but how do you pass/throw ball? For passing, I'm guessing that you target a close ally then click or use key to throw ball to them, is this correct? For just throwing the ball away, how do you do this, whilst I had posession I tried clicking the ball on my hot bar to get rid of it but it remained dark and I ended up being killed whilst in posession?
  11. Just one thing, if I put the full two points in Ion Overload, so that Rocket Punch always activates the cylinder, can I then use Rail Shot immediately or do I have to use a ranged attack first, that's what the description tends to imply?
  12. I just read the full description for Ion Overload, so that answers my question but are there any others that do DOT?
