  1. My fan has never sounded the same after playing SWTOR. Fact. Take it or leave it.
  2. "crawl" was the least of your worries, young biodrone.
  3. Yep, my fan has never sounded the same since playing SWTOR for a few weeks. Now I have to punch my laptop to get it to stop sounding like the apocalypse.
  4. Certainly not SWTOR. So far it's ranking amongst the worst pvp I've ever experienced.
  5. I'm inclined to agree with this. I really hope they can get this figured out as it one of the biggest game-breakers for me. I definitely don't feel I can perform at my best with the current amount of UI lag. Also, It appears I skipped over a zone, Taris. Somewhere along the line I overleveled, which I suspect is from doing the pvp victory daily as well as the flashpoint daily. Not to mention trying to finish all quests in an area before moving on. I never saw anything that pointed me to Taris.
  6. I came into SWTOR with a great deal of expectation so it was probably inevitable that I have some disappointments. Here are my thoughts. Likes: Really great stories. Voice-acting. Very cool Player/Armor/Weapon physics. Crafting. Dislikes: One things I dislike immensely is how classes are practically mirrored on Sith/Republic. Beyond cosmetic differences and minor abilities, I feel like I'm playing the same class if I choose Jedi/Sith, Consular/Inq, etc. I would have liked to see more commitment to class differentiation. So far on Republic side, my character has yet to step foot on a lush, green or even exotic planet/outdoor setting. I went from Ord Mantell to Fleet to Coruscant and now Nar Shaddaa, completely maxing out my tolerance for enormous, bland, steel leveling areas, which brings me to.. Huge areas filled with nothing. There are times when quests send you so far away and keep giving you bread crumbs that lead farther and farther away that eventually, even if you teleport, you will still have to hoof it just to turn in the quests and/or pick up more. A lot of the time, a Group quest entrance will be so out of the way that I resolve to fight my way to the entrance before trying to start a group since it can take SO long to get there, depending on how many mobs you aggro along the way. This has added a very displeasing sense of grinding that I am already growing tired of. UI Lag. I'm not sure where it's coming from but there is a form of lag in the UI that I haven't been able to figure out. I really enjoy healing in just about any MMO I've played but in SWTOR, as the difficulty is starting to ramp up, it is becoming more obvious just how clumsy the UI is. I can't cast at a rapid pace like I need to when things get hot. Some casts just never go off or "interrupt" halfway through the cast. Most of the time I feel that abilities are not able to be cast in an efficient or rapid manner, such as in FPS's or other MMO's. Healing. So far, in current content, I feel that Healing is vastly undertuned. Almost halfway to 50, I have 2-3 healing spells and one REALLY terrible aoe heal grenade that barely makes a dent, and it even has a cooldown, rendering it useless so far. TLDR: All in all, it's an moderately enjoyable experience, but I don't think that I will be sticking around much longer if the above gripes are not addressed in some way. I can't help but feel hampered by the clumsy UI. The lack of reliable customization or addons, not to mention even in-game macros make make this game less than what it can certainly be. Thank you.
