  1. I'm on the internet. Therefore everything I write will dramatically change people and the world around me for the better!
  2. How would a game improve without complaints? The devs would simply think that they'd got it right and continue down the path that they're on.
  3. Let me start this by saying that I like people complaining. Complaints is how a game improves. Without them the developers won't know what's wrong with the game (Captain obvious strikes again...) What really pisses me off is the people who complain as if Bioware are never going to fix it. You know the ones I'm talking about. "OMG I'm quitting this game! Look how OP **** is! Bioware you have released a truely awful game!" The game has been out for 3 weeks. Expecting a new game to not have any bugs what so ever is just plain stupid. Especially when that game has been forced into a premature release by a company who cares more about money than their customers. *cough*EA*cough*. How do you know that they aren't already working on a fix? And don't give me the excuse that "Other MMOs have been out for years they should have learned from their mistakes" Because Bioware have never made an MMO before. They will have had to come up with a lot of coding from scratch. It's not like they can just borrow a bit of coding from other games is it? (At least not without paying a substantial amount for it) So there will be bugs. There will be balance issues. Having said that. What also pisses me off is being completely kept in the dark by Bioware when there has been such an onslaught of complaints! There has been 100's of new topics daily on the forums of people complaining about what's wrong with the game. And I'm sure Bioware have been working on fixes. But Bioware doesn't seemed to of acknowledged any of them as far as I know. I haven't seen any threads from Bioware employees saying something along the lines of "We are aware that **** is a current problem for many of our customers and we are doing **** to fix it." It does seem like they don't actually give a crap what we think, even if they do. And yes I am aware of this post being a bit hippocritical... what? You've never met a hippocrite before?
  4. The game has been out for 3 weeks. Are you really that impatient? They have a hell of a lot on their plate at the moment. FPS issues, input lag, imbalance between factions and countless people complaining that the class that just beat them in PvP is OP.
  5. You could try doing a mini-series like swifty did where you duel against different class/specs. E.g Fahros vs Sith marauder. Talk through the duel, say what you did to win. And if you lose then go on to say how to modified your strategy in order to beat the other person. If you did it against other 50's with similar gear then I guess there'd be less complaints from the "harcore" PvPers.
  6. Sorry I didn't realize this warzone was actually Alderann, not Huttball. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haZ7FtWXpQc&feature=channel_video_title
  7. This coming from the guy who posted a commentary of him playing a Huttball match where at least half his kills were from picking on lowbies with low health... No one said you did. If you don't like something then don't comment. Or at least if you do comment try to make it constructive. Not just "You suck why didn't you do this? Get off of youtube."
  8. It was still a douchey comment which was written just to bring the guy down a peg...
  9. Why make a comment like this? Is it forbidden for anyone who isn't amazing at PvPing to make a PvP vid? It was a pretty cool vid and the guy isn't half bad... Comments like yours aren't constructive in any way and just make you look like a complete *****.
  10. Imagine Darth Vader or Malak with a cyan lightsaber... Yeeah.

    Fire pits

I'm not sure if this was meant to be in the game or if it was a mistake on Bioware's part but if you run around the edge of a fire pit on the metal, if you're lucky you will not take any damage at all. This means that the traps are almost useless if you know this. There have been countless times when I or a team mate has had the ball and I've just run straight past the fire pits when they're turned on and then scored for my team. It's kinda ridiculous. If this is a bug then please fix it. The fire/acid pits are a pretty fundamental part of Huttball and they can mean the difference between scoring and ending up a stain on the scaffolding.

    MVP votes

Totally agree with this. Had one match on voidstar where our whole team rushed one side whilst I managed to sneak past and blew the other door at the start. We maintained so much momentum that I managed to activate the bridge, blow up the next door and lower the shields without getting touched by an enemy. I had pretty much won the game for us. I know it didn't exactly require much skill but I was in the right place at the right time and I played the objective. When we switched sides they didn't stand a chance and the game was over quickly. I didn't get a single MVP vote at the end of the match despite this. It ended up being a healer on our team that got it because he had the highest healing done.
