  1. I feel like I should put something here, so here it is.
  2. It gets them cooler, stronger armor and allows them to get to the real fun (Literally everything else in the entire game) faster.
  3. Comments in bold. I await your rebuttal. I still don't see why everyone wants everyone to be banned. Why not just ask for the brokenness to be fixed? Is that really so hard?
  4. Not to mention that has to be at least the seven thousandth time that video has been posted in this thread.
  5. Technically speaking, trading kills is a lot more social than mindlessly running out there to get killed (If you're a Rep) or find nobody to kill (If you're an Imp). Illum is like this because it's a broken mess. If people weren't trading the planet would practically be 100% dead. It simply isn't. Fun. That's the problem. But I guess people are too thick to recognize it. Keep blaming the players for Bioware's terrible game design- they can leave whenever they want. Bioware can either fix their game, or ban large chunks of their playerbase and watch their game suffer a slow death. It so simple, yet it seems to be going right over everyone's heads.
  6. Name one, and I mean ONE game where people DON'T exploit anything they get the chance to. I'm not responsible if your head explodes. Case in point- exploiting players are to be expected. Bioware should have made it harder to exploit. Or they could have made it an area designed for fun. But I guess we can't have that, now can we?
  7. Take responsibility for leaving your car keys in your car instead of trying to say the guy who stole your car is the one at fault, then. Oh snap, logic...
  8. You do realize the objective is to try to be able to compete in the MMO market, right? Leaving simple exploits lying around and simply banning anyone who does it (You have to be max level to do it, too, so chances of someone quitting over that are exponentially higher) isn't going to gain them any subs, that's for sure... Also, deleting every character in a guild? Because a few people from it were exploiting? Really? Really? If you people were running this game it'd be dead before it's first anniversary.
  9. Banning people would just mean more people quit. People will always try to exploit it, too. Fixing it would be a better option.
  10. My fault I have a new car and you don't have anything? Sounds like a win to me.
  11. I never go to Illum. Ever. I'm a rep and I don't feel like all the headache. I'm just running Warzones getting destroyed by the Imps and not really caring. Only 6 days until I stop playing this game for 8-14 months. Now, let's say hypothetically, I was indeed exploiting Illum. To answer your question... No. It is not my fault. If I was going into the code, editing some stuff, or downright hacking, it would be my fault, but if all I'm doing is doing something Bioware specifically put into the game, whether they intended for me to do it or not, it isn't my fault. Human nature will make people take the easy route, especially when the alternative is so, so much more difficult. Also, there's the fact that a lot of people won't be resubbing because, to be quite frank, PvP in this game is a broken mess. It's Bioware's fault for all the little things that caused it to get to this point. Illum would honestly be a lot more fun if they just got rid of all that fluff that turns the planet into a chore and made it a free zone to kill people. Since the 50's have their own bracket now they could move the dalies and valor rewards to the Warzones instead. Sure, it could be (And has been) said that people are exploiting it and it's against the rules, but it's like sitting your brand new, unopened, limited edition Ipad 2 on a bench while you run across the street to Starbucks. If it gets stolen, sure, the guy who took it is definitelyin the wrong, but he's not a bad dude. He might not even have any ill intentions. It's your fault for leaving your Ipad on the bench, you moron (not directed at you in particular).
  12. You're right. Why would they patch something to stop the turret trading (Was it bannable? I didn't hear anyone getting banned) when it directly opens up another way of trading? You people are missing the bigger picture. If Bioware wasn't so incompetent on how to make a PvP system work this wouldn't be a problem in the first place. You can try to blame the players all you want- they're the ones giving Bioware their money. It's up to Bioware to run the game.
  13. It doesn't actually say we're not supposed allowed to trade kills, though. If it does, by all means, point it out to me, like I'm sure you will anyways. If you can't, my point about it being Bioware's terrible game design still stands. Can you read my post fully? I actually offer ways that the problem can be fixed.
  14. Please explain to me how breaking someone's property, stealing their things, and using it as your own against their will is the same as working together towards a common goal due to how incredibly difficult it is to get anything done?
  15. To add to this, I would like to note that the uploader, who still uploads videos of his lvl 50 Sage, uses a green lightsaber in the retail version of the game. If it was still in the game, or at least available through the means of which he obtained it during beta, I think it would be safe to assume he'd have it now, too, as opposed to regular old green. Of course, the way he got it during Beta might have been so incredibly hard and time consuming that he doesn't feel it's worth it anymore. That would also explain his silence on how to get the crystal, as he might not feel like explaining it.
