Making Tora a quest reward companion would be cool with me. Romance would be great as well. Perhaps that could be part of the quest. All I know is Lana was a total fail even when you did everything right - and to be sure, I made sure I did not hook up with Ashara.

There should be no reason why I cannot fire/hire a companion. For example, everytime I see Quinn I feel that I need to force choke him. I would like to simply dismiss him, no, I want to faceplant him and pick up a new companion. Perhaps a selection could be offered in something like a Job Listing, or a contact(s) on different worlds with a specific set of missions designed to pick up the new companion. Perhaps an old aquaintance from an earlier mission would suddenly present themselves due to the opening they "heard about". I dont care how we pick up a new companion, I want that man off my bridge, I dislike him, he is annoying. The least that bioware could do is let me reassign him to swabbing the deck. I would so dress him in a French Maid costume and tell Lt. Pierce to kick him at least once a day.
