Overall, Sidious is far better than Vitiate. Vitiate's only real advantage is sorcerer, rituals, and perhaps certain darkside knowledge; in these areas Vitiate is superior. Sidious is far better well rounded, and thus comes out on top.

If it works out best to leave me out, then I'm ok with that. Though its for the best for the guys in the Runner up rounds; they wouldn't have had a chance otherwise

This is just my opinion, so don't grill me for it, but the way I see it is.
Vader>Kun>SK=Revan.
Granted the difference is small, but still there.

If you believe that SK>Vader, then why don't you argue SK>Kun instead of Vader>Kun?????

So are we just discussing Vader and Kun for #9? Cases haven't been made for Revan, and I don't think SK can even make the list tbh.

Plus, Dark Disciple came out after we wrote that list, I think.
Oh, ok. I haven't read Dark Disciple, but I probably wouldn't have picked Vos anyways.

I died at the suggestion that Quinlan Vos is a 20, especially after Dark Disciple. He's a 30 at minimum.
RIP Aurbere, you will be missed.
EDIT: In the original thread, Beni posted Vos as a balanced 20 point character.

I say keep her it gives your team the Boost it needs to face stronger Opponents. On a equal playing field or at least ease the gap.
But she is redundant, Satele is also capable of powerful battle meditations. Besides, I don't want to have to keep arguing that Bastila can use it in combat.

Qui-Gon or Quinlan Vos would work well with Fisto and Plo.

Alright so Silenceo's dropout presents an issue we have to resolve, having an existing player take over his faction is one option, but to be honest having one player run multiple teams creates more issues than it resolves I feels.
I'd suggest that a team knocked out from the Semi-Finals takes his place, Mudkip would you be interested?
However, I'm not sure how much I can commit, due to classes starting up for me. Though I can try.

Could the runner up participants use characters from the teams of the people already out of the tournament?
Essentially, could they use members from mine, Tunewalker's, or Beni's, teams?

Side Note: You let the story game die.
There are plenty of examples of blaster proof materials in the star wars lore, I'm sure something can be done with them.

If you are familiar with the Halo series, there was a race that had developed technology to the point where it became redundant. Basically they had transcended the need for technology and became primordial deities.
In the same way, Star Wars might have reached its technology redundancy, as the only real developments are in certain niche areas and military science; both of which are used to further plot. The SW universe could very well develop further, as there are precedents for more advanced societies. The Columi, Gree, Kwa, and Taung were all advanced even more so. Finally, the Celestials are the epitome of tech advancement in the SW universe. In order for there to be a significant advancement in general technology, there needs to be a major discovery of some sort.
