Meshky is telling it like it is. I'm not over exaggerating when I say the game is unplayable. I can't log in and as a result I can't play the game. It is unplayable by definition.

This absolutely needs to happen. For many of us, it is not our fault that our best characters are stuck on another server. I remember not so long ago that servers died, there was nobody to play with, all of us re rolled back then. At least give us the opportunity to consolidate our characters and legacy. There are no technical issues in allowing us to do this, nobody is going to gain an advantage or disadvantage, server balance is not going to be affected as like I said, most of us will transfer merely to consolidate. You can even charge us money for the mistakes YOU made in the early days of this game (Increasing servers at launch when people were just trying the game out and then taking far too long to reduce servers when a large percentage of subscribers left). I feel that Bioware are doing loyal players a dis- service. Firstly because of their lack of transparency ( how many of us got our hopes up when we heard that paid transfers were coming only be told at the last second cross region would not be avaliable?... yeah, me too.) Secondly, they are doing a dis-service to loyal players who have subscribed since the beginning and begged for this since the servers died and still have no satisfaction regarding their marooned characters. Come on Bioware, just do it already.

The fact that this thread is so extensive yet so badly ignored is unbeliable. The technology is in place already so just open the thing up. There is no need to wait for free to play, just open it up on the account sheet like last time. If you are concerned about server balance then restrict transfers to servers where the player already has a character. It is consolidation that most of us are looking for. This is supposed to be a proper mmo, not a facebook app, so the option to transfer should be standard, from LAUNCH! I don't care about a party jawa or a white lightsaber crystal, or a new pet. I simply want to move my level 50 Sage onto the same server as my other 7 toons. This whole " transfers? Yeah soon but hey we are giving our community a hutt on a skateboard! How great are we? " Attitude is so frustrating.
