Do you not understand that recruit gear is given out for free? There is absolutely no reason ever to not have pvp gear in warzones. If they took the credit token, then they should use said credits to purchase recruit gear. I have nothing against people learning, its when they learn then don't apply that knowledge that there becomes an issue.

While it is a fact that there is no requirement for pvp gear in warzones, that is not an excuse to not use it once you have been told that it is significantly better then pve gear. You say its mean to tell people not to que in horrible gear, really however, its extremely rude to join a warzone in low level pve gear, all it does is carry the team down, you do pathetically less damage, you die incredibly faster, and honestly, its just plain rude to knowingly be carrying down your team. I have no problem with people who are willing to learn how to pvp, honestly i have no issue helping people with it, it's when they knowingly carry down a team that there becomes an issue.

hehehe, radeon hd 4200 its a Walmart laptop, so i cant even upgrade it, thus im saving up for a desktop. so ya, my fps sucks

sometimes it is nice when they are on the other side, nothing like hitting 9k for a master strike tick ^.^ and his gear isnt the main issue atm, even if a lot of it is recruit, its my 5fps in wzs

Don't get me wrong, I am not a very good PvPer, but I'm not stupid, but having had people freak out at me when I suggest their tionese gear is not acceptable for a warzone is just pathetic. Just incase some of the fresh 50s don't realize, you actually get a free set of recruit gear from the PvP vendor. But seriously, I can't help but cry inside when I see 2-3 people a game using level 49-fresh 50 PvE gear, with 13k health and 100-300 expertise, it really pains me to see this. Anybody else finding this to be a real issue since merging into this server, I'm already missing CR.

Friends don't let friends commando dps in pvp basically if you want to be a serious pvper and are playing a commando just roll another toon until bioware possibly fixes them

Sadly you are all wrong you should never use gunnery for pvp, you're just bringing your team down and really are not worth having in the group. either go heals or use assault for dps, which sadly is still a pretty crummy dps spec seeing as vang's is much better. so, either go heals or roll a new toon

yes, we are very, very stationary, if we have to constantly move around, then it drops our dps very, very significantly. Honestly, the issue is not whether or not we are op or up, but about people disliking that we need to be countered in a very specific way. As for us being boring, again that's opinion.

Honestly, I find commandos a blast to play, in pve they are a tonne of fun, and pvp especially (if you have a good team) So in the end, no merc/commandos do not need a nerf, if people find them boring then reroll or switch to the more mobile spec that we possess, but all this crying about us is simply people being silly

It saddens me to see the lack on intelligence on this thread, however I will add in my thoughts:) To compensate for the misunderstanding of the commando/merc haters on this thread I will speak very plainly. Use interrupts and line of sight us. We do very nice damage that is true, but for crying out loud WE ARE STATIONARY TO DO DECENT DPS that means *gasp* you can easily kill us if you're a decent pvp'er; sadly after reading some of the posts, I have to come to realize that you simply can't think far enough to try to interrupt us or line of sight us, therefore you make this pointless thread asking for us to be nerfed because you're too poor a player to figure out how to kill us. so please, learn to pvp or don't complain that we kill you because you don't know what to do.

ive got a level 50 commando on the thena vash server and i can't agree more with the quoted post, commandos are by far the easiest class to counter with the "gunnery" tree, that tree is the one you are complaining about as it gives gravround. and no we don't "just" spam grav round/tracer missle, while we do use it alot, it is the basis for our rotations, grav round can give armour buff to us, debuff on enemy players and it boosts the damage of demo round and high impact bolt, which are our main burst dps moves, grav round also boosts full auto giving it 25% more damage, so yes we depend on it alot, but its called "inturupts", an easy type of move to use on us, when you take away our grav round you SEVERLY reduce our dps, which is what you should be doing, if you are not then you need to learn how to kill us better. as for our debuff stacking, if you are being hit by 2+ commandos, then for the love of god line of sight us its easy to do, and it is annoying for us as gravround/trace is not instant, so we are stationary to do considerable damage 2ldr, use inturputs/los us and you're fine, if not prepare to be killed off
