Hello everyone.
I would like to see some discussion on ways Guilds could be better implemented in this game. I really liked the guild systems in other games, (WoW especially) and I wanted to try and suggest some ways to make the guild system in SWTOR more purpousful and exciting...
I have already heard about guild banks being released in a later patch. That was one of my questions from launch, because I find having a pool for loot and crafting materials for a guild is always extremely convenient.
A couple things I have picked up from other games:
1. An event calendar where guilds can post events such as raids, PvP sessions, etc.
2. A guild leveling system where guilds can level up and grow, also giving benifits to members, such as increased experience from monsters.
3. Ways to represent your guild in the game; a badge, a tabard, a mark, a tatoo, etc.
One thing I really thought could be unique in the game;
A "phased room" (a room with a green/purple/red portal that places you in a certain phase, like the class-specific quest phases.
Please comment with your ideas and thoughts on the subject. I would love to see a unique advanced guild system in this game, and I'm sure many of you would to.
