Yet 90% aren't have the issue you are having. Strange that.
Well my GTX570 runs at 70C (40 idle), but that's how hot it runs for every high-end game. But, I have a mini-ATX case and that temperature is just fine since the maximum range is a bit over 100C.

You have some serious issues. I'm runnin this game on high, air cooled, and only gettin up to 34c max.

Pro tip, i don't need a new pc, idiot. i can max any game out currently with temps around 55c. its only in this bag of **** my cards are maxing temps of 70+.
half my pc is water cooled, bar my cards which are in sli they has more than enough airflow to them. ..
70C is perfectly fine operating temperature for GPU's
Above 80 is beginning the range of "too hot"

This is what I have been saying since release. The engine and code simply cannot handle more than 30 people on screen.
The Hero Engine is trash bloatware and Bioware got ripped-off.

SWG was bad, but it had a longer half-life than this game could ever hope for.

I want hundreds of people in my zone and want the game to run flawless. That's why i purchased SWTOR and didn't purchase Skyrim. Population is the very definition of an MMO.
Skyrim feels more alive than this game.

My server, Rroorowook, has been pretty much dead since the beginning.
The most I've ever seen on the capital ship is around 60.
The most I've ever seen anywhere ever was around 120 on Dromund Kas, a few days after launch.

These are standard features that even Age of Conan had on release.
How does it feel to play a game with less features and content than Age of Conan on release?

Or how DA2 is ridiculed EVERYWHERE.
AND MANY PEOPLE ENJOYED IT AND THERE ARE A LOT OF MAJOR FANS OF DA2.
The internet is a lying mistress, that will lead you to believe lies, develop tons of opinions, feel others have the same opinions, and think that people care about you as much as they do in the real world.
TOR is, in my opinion, one of the best games I've played to date. It's just my opinion though. People might not like the game as much as I do, but many people do enjoy the game. The forums are a very, very minor part of the population, and they are generally the more irritable or upset part. It's the review plague: People are more likely to give feedback when they've had a bad experience, and people that are having good experiences will continue to find good experiences.
Now, many people that have bad experiences and go to the forums to voice them actually DO voice them, and offer suggestions and criticisms, to better the game. Others complain. Complaints leak out to other forums and spread like wildfire. Metacritic also lends a hand, because angry players will flood the website and fire volley after volley of 0's at the rating to lower it, and that will carry weight with other websites and people that don't play the game.
So, people that have absolutely no experience with the game will call it TORtanic and insult it, based on what they've seen or read second-hand from unreliable or angry sources over the internet.

Yeah, the hardcore whine, and the casual players love the game. As with every MMO, the former are impossible to please.
I have one character, a level 31 Imperial Agent, and I've been playing since December.
I'd say I'm pretty casual.
I hate this farce of a game.

KotOR 2 was better than KotOR 1, are you blind and deaf?
The writing, characters, plot, and story are much better in KotOR 2. The game system is also expanded and improved. The only "fault" of KotOR 2 as opposed to the first is that it was "unfinished" in that it was missing some chunks of content.
Obsidian, time and time again, continue to show that they have the best writers in all of the video game industry BY FAR.

How is gear that everyone fought for yours and yours alone simply because you happened to roll a Trooper?
Because the point of running an instance is to get upgrades for your character.
The etiquette is you only roll need if it's a direct upgrade for your character. That's how it has been for a decade.

Most of the OP doesn't make any sense.
Bioware's poor coding causes the performance issues that are known, but not overheating.
That is a physical problem that is entirely manufacturer/user side. If your GPU actually fried out, then you probably had multiple problems going on inside of your chassis at once.

I'm not saying that things won't change/be added to the game. That isn't the issue. I'm just expressing some disappointment in Bioware's lack of characterization for this game. Had it been any other developer, this caliber of writing would likely be above what anyone expected. However, Bioware has a reputation for brilliant writing and characterization.
This just isn't at the top of that list.
DA2 and ME2 have pretty poor writing, even by Video Game standards.
