  1. So.... would now be a good time to point out my Shadow has 6.6k armour and is capable of as much mobility, fire immunity, and self shielding as Sorc? >_> Edit: Correction; my self shielding lasts 5 seconds, most sorc/sage shields pop within a second of focus.

I have more than any commando, seeing as I'm sitting pretty on 6.5k armour, I also have WAY more health than any commando (unless for some retarded reason they picked up the vanguard tanking gear, in which case I troll their face off by killing them with basic attacks) I also have a steady 1k dps, give or take, with more if my force crit procs standard crits, and can rupt effortlessly nearly an entire fight because STUNS are rupts, and I have plenty of them. If a commando tries to run? slow. If a commando tries to heal? rupt/stun. If a commando tries to DPS (especially whilst heal specced) I laugh at him hitting <1k damage on me with his heavy hits and proceded to /dance repeatedly. Even if I screw up a stunlock rotation, I just wait out the resolve bar clearing and do it again, and yes I will have that much time because I have obscene self healing capabilities.
  3. Funny... an assassin and a shadow have posted saying they can't down them... yet I am one of the few republic players who can down a certain merc healer on my server. Guess they just aren't hitting their rupts and stuns in the right places. Personally I find pretty much any healer easy to down; unless there is a back-up healer or tank guarding them, in which case I require the same backing me up (healer, obviously, because I'm a tank).
  4. Dang you have a lot of DPS for a juggernaught, normally they wail on targ- oh wait yeah, sorcs... kinda squishy. NEVERMIND! =D But seriously, it's that easy. you realistically can roll out what, 12+ seconds of rupts without issue, and NOTHING that squishy takes that long to down. As I said in another post. I am melee. Ranged tries (and fails) to flee before me. I laugh as I butcher their faces off because I have a permanent 50% or so speed reduction CC out the *** and pretty much unlimited interupts, even on the GOOD casters.

Datamining of the game was also remarked as totally inaccurate in several Dev posts; regardless; exotech is only marginally better than the 48 purples; which are reusable and are already tradeable. Yes biochem doesn't suck. No this does not mean it needs a nerf. I can guarentee if this nerf goes ahead Synthweaving with it's Rakata gear will become FotM crafting skill, then get nerfed. The issue is not that "Biochem is OP!" it's "There is no point to taking any other skill at all in the entire game". Cybertech? ****** grenades are ****** (and dumb CDs) Artificing.... is below worthless Armstech? has anyone even BOTHERED getting this PoS to 400? lol. Armormech.... same as Synthweaving - gives only two rakata pieces which are BoP and as such have limited use. TL;DR - Don't *********** nerf the only USABLE crew skill, or if you do, just remove ALL THE DAMNED SKILLS because it'll just become pointless to use any of them.

I laugh at the complaints this is a nerf... to nearly all endgame assassins and shadows on my server, this is a buff to high heavens because we're all tank specced, and this just added 33% to our self heal. I already beat a healing Sage to the top of healing once as a Shadow (I lolzed at them saying 65k was a lot of healing as a sage in a 50 WZ) On the flip side; WHY THE **** is there a buff to hybrids in the same time as a nerf to hybrids? Kinetic is the tank tree, it has a buff to force techniques power (as opposed to what was previously, **** all) for that and that alone I must say that bioware were clearly high as a kite when they decided on this course of action. Oh and they also buffed Balance.... the only "nerf" I see is stopping people from changing technique in combat... which frankly if you were in combat you bloody well shouldn't have the force to spend 50 in the first place. I don't get the change to Infiltration; is that the one the shadows are complaining about or do Assassins get like... a reverse of the changes we get? >_>

To be fair, that's because whiners got your class nerfed - I don't dispute that scoundrel does crap all damage however that's not a closing issue nor an autofacing issue, that's a dumb nerf issue; it also has little to do with ranged vs melee because IF a scoundrel can get up close; or have a half decent team with it, it can stay within melee range.
  8. You would care.... because with collision boxes the graphical requirement for the game would go through the roof; server latency would screw everything to hell and basically the world would end, better this way no?
  9. Only a very stupid operative/scoundrel doesn't chose the location and target for it's fights. Stealth kinda, you know, grants you that. If you chose to go after the big 20k health tank, don't cry when the 10k health Sorc melts you from afar.
  10. Isn't spamming 1 2 or 3 pretty much just autofiring? I'm pretty sure it is. Oh and red text looks *********** ugly, you won't get taken more seriously just because you use it.

LOLZ OP IZ NUB CAN'T UZ HIZ 20000000 CLOSERZ AND STUNS AND **** KNOWS WHAT ELSE *caps obviously makes my point more valid* I am melee. Ranged characters try to flee and die horribly. I am happy with this.
  12. Why do people have this obsession with classes "taking skill". I personally find it massively easier to melee than ranged, and this is from someone who mains a melee. There is however no skill required at any point in this game; some quick thinking perhaps, but no real skill. It isn't skill to mash keys in certain combinations to max dps/tanking/healing/whatever.
  13. Aren't pretty much all classes other than Sent/Marauder facerollderp? Certainly my Shadow is, and my juggernaught was.... Also if a caster is spamming autoface, it's dead. Why? because if it's using autoface it's not healing, if it's not healing it's 2k armour is like a piece of paper trying to hold back a wildfire. Not happening in a million years (unless it's a REALLY big bit of paper...)

You know most people use stun as an interupt, or knockback. *shrug* You're completely right, and personally I'd hate for them to nerf Grav/Tracer, not only does tracer not even scratch me in 50 PvP, I like having commandos able to actually rack up some damage in PvE. Mostly, as ever, the calls for Grav/Tracer nerfs are basic L2P issues. If you can't rupt them, LOS them, if you can't do that, just jump on their face and melt it, because basically the only class that CAN'T reliably rupt/stunlock a trooper/merc is a sentinel/marauder... who has a handy little invincibility skill.
  15. lol wut? I wondered why people thought it was a good idea to run through me, didn't realise it was some stupid mechanic from another stupid game. Seriously I LOVE when they do it... getting a free backstab with my shadow makes my rotation slightly different! But Honestly. WHY THE **** DO PEOPLE THINK IT'S A GOOD IDEA TO RUN AROUND IN CIRCLES?! It doesn't make you harder to target - just tab for enemies, click on party box for allies It doesn't make you hit harder/dodge better - you can turn instantly when not moving to be facing the correct direction - I do this all the damned time for free backstabs It does not make you cool - Unless you manage to be directly above me when I fire my knockback; then Kudos for hitting the top of the Voidstar map! IF ANYTHING it makes you harder for your healer ally to target if they are specifically swapping their healing directly towards you, ESPECIALLY if you are jumping around in a dumb AoE with other party members injured nearby, because then they can't even damned click on your party bar before you're dead. People need to stop (did I see someone calling it Bunny-hopping and Jousting?) doing it and just move to a good position and use it. It gives you no advantage, and if I juke even slightly to the side, or simple spin and backstab you, suddenly your *** is hurting and I'm just laughing.

  18. Well to be fair, you guys hit like fleas at the moment, fleas are quite annoying you know! =P (seriously, there's a fully champ geared Juggernaught on my server who hits me on average in the 500-1k region... I out heal him with a Shadow.)

I encourage you to continue trying to gear up, because honestly, once you're on a level playing field again the 50 PvP is awesome; bioware acknowledge the rate of gearing is off, and I'm sure a fix WILL come around (just hopefully not the one they are talking about, that'll just widen the gap)
  21. Shhh don't tell them strategies they could never understand, the people who complain about this kinda thing are the people who fight 6 (of them) on 1 tank popping every CD they have whilst the rest of the tanks team just caps all three turrets.

  23. Correct. Well, except the second line. Operatives/Scoundrels were NEVER OP and should never have been nerfed in a trillion years. Just people wanted some QQ to go with the Ops' pew pew. Edit: Coincidentally, I'm actually on the fence about whether tracer missile is OP in pre-50 pvp. my Sage WAS crit for over 6k damage, which strikes me as a lot for pre-50, but then I was basically trolling the WZ with no force shield and most slots missing, so I can't really judge it. In 50-PvP it's like a normal shot... but weaker.
  24. Just wait, soon it will be Sages/Sorcs having too high armour. Then Vanguards/Powertechs will be reduced to using bananas rather than guns. Then Lightsabers will have to go....
  25. Orly? because I don't have one, can I haz one pl0x? I also have about... Iunno, two removals, enough CC to stop a fairly large army and enough survivability to just tank two or three people off the turret and spam slows on them. Not to mention my 30 meter force pull. Or apparently my ability to actually use a tactic other than "LOLZ KILL DEM ALL!" As a side note. Alderaan is probably the only WZ I don't despise the respawn timer on... though Huttballs I mainly despise because everything about that damned WZ is hell (and I'm a class that can run both fires in a row without dying or slowing, Ironic.)
