How is going F2P NOT a bad sign? If the game had subs increasing more and more it would of stayed a completely subscription based game. Since its not, and its losing subs, F2P is to bring more people in because there currently are NONE coming in.

Would Making This Title available To Xbox 360 & PS3 Save It? It seems that with going F2P Bioware has it's hand firmly grasped upon the fire alarm lever and are now taking initiatives to save the game from a complete burndown of subs/players. With the player base of Xbox 360 and PS3 users, do you believe making this game available on PSN and Xbox Live Marketplace for $14.99 would help boost subs, income, and interest in the game?? Not to mention some players who already have the game on a weak PC would be able to run the game at full performance graphically and processing wise for the first time. Keyboard and mouse support is available on Playstation 3, but I can't speak for Xbox 360. Seeing as how games like Guild Wars 2 have already announced the studio releasing the game for consoles early 2013, would it help Swtor to follow that same lead??? Your Thoughts????

For the simple fact that you've been fed the B.S that the core game and features you paid $60 for, is now all of a sudden titled as "Premium Features" alone. Your $15 a month covers the mass amount of upkeep needed to keep servers and game modes running well, NOT ACCESS to those Game Modes. My $60 initial purchase covered that access. This nickel and diming of gamers is NOT okay, and some people have a serious case of Stockholm Syndrome to stick around and accept that sort of lunacy. Pretty soon you're going to have to pay $15 a month on fighting games to throw as many Hadoukens as you want, but others can have the game for free and only throw 5 per match. It's pretty much the same thing as what's happening now. As much as I love this game I'll minimize my playing and do whatever I have to in the confines of the F2P but I can't continue dropping more $$$$ down with so many indirect statements, vague peeks at the future with no explanation, and just flat out lying coming from EA. I truly want to understand the mindset and thoughts of people who are amped up to continue paying with a big smile on their face. I think it would make a statement if everyone went F2P and stayed F2P no longer paying monthly for anything. What do you think that would result in?? Them shutting the game down?? Nope, they'd end up taking many of those restrictions in place AWAY to draw in more players...You'd see advertisements and releases like "Now F2P With MORE Access" after a while. The future of micro transactions doesn't have to be inevitable if gamers dont go along with it, All im saying.

Nope, The Main Concept is just as the ending statement says. No matter where you go MMO wise the grass isn't greener on the other side. There will be people upset and angry over a junk load of issues. To find a game that fits your preference. That is All.

I did more of a in depth research on Guild wars forums than any other games I looked up mainly because I'm going to give Guild wars 2 a try. I'll never abandon swtor completely. I'm with it till the wheels fall off(Which in my own opinion feels kinda close). I'll go f2p at LEAST here. But I looked up the Guild wars 2 forums official, gamefaqs, and IGN. Most complaints are about major lag issues in starting areas, Wonky Animations(Toons seem to skip around not run), Stale voice Acting, etc. Basically anything they can gather from Beta they are thinking is going to be long term. I'll say the character customization for GW'2 to is a WORLD and BEYOND better than swtor, I so sorely wish we had that kind of toon customization. Anyway yeh.

Well from what you said and what I see I guess from the outside looking in us Swtor players main gripe is that a grocery list of promises just NEVER happened, and when questioned on it dev's and EA/Bio lock themselves in a closet and refuse to come out to speak of it. It boggles my mind with all the Star Wars fans around the world this game didnt take off into the skies of success. It's THE biggest movie franchise world wide ever.

I'm off work today and decided to do a little research on the current state of MMO's. I Visited the message boards of Diablo III, Rift, World Of Warcraft, and Guild Wars. To my Surprise I found that their forums look...A Lot like this one. FULL of people complaining to no end, full of people upset and wanting a refund for this or that being fixed, or a broken development promise, etc. My question to the Swtor forums is simply this, Is there such thing as an MMO Fanbase that is overall satisfied in GENERAL??? It seems like there is no possible way to make EVERYONE happy. Diablo 3 Fans hate that they're dungeons are narrow, small, and short in exploration Warcraft players are upset they will soon have Panda's running around the world and that the game hasn't sought to innovate itself since it's 3rd expansion. Rift Players are complaining the game grows dull after a few months if you aren't into raiding Guild Wars 2 players....havent even had a release on the game yet and are ALREADY complaining lol. So just know as you log on to these forums and see tons of people complaining about going elsewhere to play...wherever they are goin, the grass aint much greener on that side. There are flaws in ALL MMO's. Find one with the subject/theme you dig and stick with it.

No matter what we'll make it through right??? You're in Denial. The same people that sat in this forum FIRM that this title would NEVER EVER go Free to Play.....Now What? Wait wait wait...you got the game ALL Twisted dude. What do you mean "Expecting BW to jump through hoops for him"???? He Should! Are we NOT paying $15 a month for "Online Services"???? We're doing BW the favor by showing a loyal interest in their game and offering information on what we think will improve the game for the better. It's not Bioware doing US the favor, there's a million other games out but we choose to play this one. Sounds like Stockholm Syndrome to me lol. I talked to a handfull of EA and Bioware Devs at E3 this past week and they all said they have people hired specifically to skim through the forums and keep in touch on every and any little thing so that they can please US, the Member. We've already done our part by subscribing they have to do theirs now. Why should anyone HAVE to reroll?? I rerolled to fatman because I like the game that much, others, are like eff it, not doing a full 50 ALL OVER again and subs drop. Just don't....sit there and be Bioware's B***, if more people were like you nothing around here would get fixed, the devs would just be like EH...whatever problems you got in the game, figure it out, work within it, help yourself.
