  1. You too, can be casual and push those limits at your leisure!!!
  2. If you are new to Ebon Hawk or have been here since before server merges, we don't discriminate. We are currently looking for players who just WANT to enjoy the game. <<ANY CLASS>> OPs focused players: We are currently in a 'relaxed' period with the holidays fast approaching. We know that 'CASUAL' gamers have real lives and as such our current OPs Progression is off till the new year. But this does not mean we aren't doing them. Our usual OPs schedule is Sunday (7:30 EST - 10:30 EST ) and Monday Nights (8:30 EST - 10:30 EST). [Monday’s start time fluxuates based on player availability between 7:30 and 8:30.] We currently are running 8man OPs, and have 2 dedicated tanks and 2 dedicated healers, but if this is the roll you play don’t fret we do a rotational model where you are on 2 weeks and off 1 week; same rotation is used for DPS as well. If numbers get high enough 2 OPs teams can and will run, as have done in the past. If you want to run OPs and haven’t before or you’re a fresh 50. Don’t fret! We pause in progression once a month to allow new members to run older OPs and help to get them geared so they can run in the Progression settings. This doesn’t mean that sometime during a week you can’t get a group together to run a random Story Mode in KP or EV. Feel free to visit our website and see the list of accomplishments we have had the fun to share. If OPs aren’t your bread and butter don’t worry, we have more to offer. RP focused players: For the player who is more interested in immersing themselves in the SWTOR universe and lore we have RP available daily. Unsure where you fit in, don’t worry! We have RP for all levels, wether you are new to the concept or just returning from a break we have players, like myself, that do a bit of ‘lite’ RP on the Fleet. Or if you are confident in yourself and your role, we have members who ‘live’ in game via their characters and Legacys. But don’t think that means we are ‘highbrow’ and ‘snobs’, our members also like to encourage those who RP to interact with other RPers on the server either in general cantina chat or through server RP events. For RP to truly thrive it must be throughout the community and not just between a select few. A large portion of our members have even created back stories for their characters and placed them oin the Bios section of our forums. And a few of our members have even taken to posting RP thread on other site forums, expanding the experience. But if OPs and RP aren’t your forte, but slaughtering Republic dogs is more along the lines don’t worry we have a few that share your thirst for action. PVP focused players: I once heard it said in /General that RP servers have some of the most intense PvP matches. And I believe it, as I myself have enjoyed many a PvP match here on Ebon Hawk. Currently we do have 50s who PvP, with intentions of creating a guild Ranked team. But alas we don’t quite have the right mix yet. So you could help this goal become a reality. If the ‘Under 50’ is more your style, we have plenty of Alts who run Under 50 pvp. I won’t falsely advertise to you, this is a growing group in our guild, and if interested in it you could grow with us or if you’re experienced possibly become a leading figure to others who are newer to the concept. I, myself, only started PvPing a short while ago, but the fun that can be had here has hooked me. So if you are looking for a place to join up, give us a look. Feel free to contact any of the Officers [Kindiani, Thaedryn, Morella, Dazroth, or (myself) Nik'ola a /whisper. Or really you can send anyone in <Arch Presidium> a /tell and maybe catch a group with us. You know to get a feel for us. Or feel free to look us up at: http://archpresidium.enjin.com/home Nik'ola Tes'la 50 Sorcerer Arch Presidium, Recruitment Officer
  3. This lock-out, is it only for self casts (meaning casting on yourself) or does it apply to the casting of the ability period? I am thinking the first, else they would have just said the reduced cooldown on it. If it's for self only this would be great PVP, but actually not very useful in PVE OPs (i am thinking)
  4. Wow.. I think you missed the whole point in the post. It is not one change that they are complaining about... its the fact that multiple things are being changed at one time. As an instructor in science you know that multiple changes for observation is FAULTY. Your second ERROR in judgement is that is only one skill tree the smuggler/imperial agent set up has a ranged tree and a melee focused tree.. Ops and Scoundrels are the melee aspect.. research before you look ignorant. And your last point, on my Vanguard tank, I have finished matches with 20+ kills and 3-4 deaths.. and have seen Commandos and even Sith saber weilders.. sorry brainfart on name and at work so making this fast.. with 30+ kills and 0 deaths..
  5. What most players don't understand is a multi-faceted problem. And before we cry more about Scoundrels complaining about being NERF'd, I leveled a Vanguard tank and a Sage healer prior to even considering a Smuggler. So I know how it feels to get beat down! A) Most of the time you are being CC'd or chain-stunned, its not their fault.. multiple classes hit you up till your resolve bar is full... not to mention you are also being fired upon by more than just one person - so don't blame the smuggler. B) PvP fixes to talents that were engineered and designed first and foremost for PvE ALWAYS end badly. (remember we always add PvP to the game to expand the experience.. it is not designed that way from the base or PvE mobs would have to be reworked from the start) C) SCOUNDREL IS THE GLASS CANNON! The whole point is that burst.. and if anything goes wrong during it.. they are S.O.L.... This 'fix' to the class I do not see being beneficial to the game play or the community.. just my opinion.
