  1. yeah, thanks for the input. I actually went out and got a Radeon 6770. its OK, definitely a little better, but still needs more. So looks like the $180 card is an improvement, but not the answer.
  2. Ok, so usually the game is fairly smooth when im alone, all my settings are low, and the shadows are OFF. But in any high traffic area, and especially PvP, my frame rate drops to around 9 FPS. Unplayable really. Here is what im running: AMD Athlon x2 2.7GHz 4 GB RAM Geforce 8600 GT Win 7 im hoping that replacing the Video Card will significantly improve it, but im also thinking that the processor is getting a little low s well. i can get a quad for the MB that I have, but my question is, would i be better off starting from scratch and building a new system with new mb, Proc, ram, Video, and maybe even a faster HDD? Or do you guys think I can get buy without dumping a ton of cash into right now. Thanks for any help and suggestions.
  3. Thanks for the suggestions. Im working on building a new rig, just got to get it together. Keeping the costs low to upgrade what I have now is what Im looking for, and if the processor itself is more important in this case, then I want to build my new one even faster. Turning off shadows may do the trick. And yeah, 35 fps isn't terrible, I can play, but when i hit those areas that need it more, it's a bit choppy. Thanks again for all the help, i'll check back when i get online tonight and see where i'm at.
  4. Running an AMD X2 5000+ processor on Asus M2N-SLI MB and 4 GB RAM. My graphics card is a Fatality 8600GT. Im only getting, on average, 35 FPS with the lowest graphics settings in game. Im not a huge gamer normally, but I really wanted to improve this. Question I has is would it help to add another card and SLI it, or should I just buy another upgrade?
