As it currently stands the 3 types of ships are fairly evenly balanced. If you feel it is unbalanced then perhaps you need to look at the tactics you are using or the amount of communication between yourself and your allies. I can tell you that with the correct tactics and some communication Gunships who try to act as solo snipers are the ones who are sitting ducks in my experience. Flying in at warp 9.95 and not paying attention to your surroundings, not using cover when available, flying in straight lines and not calling out tango's ..... well you get what you deserve.

Greetings all. I am a recruit currently going through the process. Please do not feel intimidated or nervous about it. The people have been friendly, kind and open. Yes they ask you some really weird questions sometimes that initially might feel awkward, but you soon realize that there really are no wrong answers. It really is an attempt to get to know you and if you make the effort, you get to know them. Don't be afraid to hit them up with serious OR my favorite funny questions to get to know them. Also I highly recommend you use their TeamSpeak server as this will help with the process. They seem to have people who enjoy all kinds of play. PvE, PvP, RP, grouping up, leveling, raiding and questing. Does that mean there is always someone on who wants to do what you want to do.... well no but no guild can promise that. Does that mean that often there is someone on who wants to do what you want to do DEFINATLY yes. Also so many of the people are so nice that you will find yourself trying different kinds of play that you might not have done otherwise opening you up to a more full enjoyment of what the games offer. Also on that note, it is nice to have a community that can be with you through more than one game. Already I have tried another game with members of Pax and have had a lot of fun doing it ( Dam you to hell Croena!!!! ). So if the description of the guild peeks your interest but you feel nervous about the process let me tell you to leave those fears behind. From my own experience it seems to really have work well with the members and other recruits I have interacted with. So I wish all good luck with their search for a guild, but I ask you to give Pax a real look and check out their website for more information. You might find as I have that they have a lot to offer and might be just the right place to call home.

This is my last comment to you since your clearly trolling. If you read the thread then you know why this was a problem and why Bioware did an investigation. As to the specifics, I explained all that to Bioware and that's why I got my names back. I don't have to give you all the specifics to you and since I got my names back, I dont' care weather or not you beileve me. The people who mattered got the details and awareded me what was just. But seriously, why would i bother to post a thank you to Bioware if it was false many months after the whole thing was resolved. I happened to be here to make a suggestion on a different issue and realized that I hadn't given thanks where it was due. What are your motives other than trolling to give the reply you gave?

It also kills the game when people want to limit other peoples options. If its a feature that doesn't appeal to you then dont use it. If your worried about player quality then make friends or join a decent guild.

I have to agree with Atlantida. Since you can respec in game already and even do so in the field, they should add an option to dual spec or atleast have some feature that would remember a build. It's a pain to have to redo my tree every time I respec. Now the additional option to remember my gear (a feature found in many mmo's) for a peticular spec would also be nice. And this would also help people who PvE and PvP. Adding these features would not allow players the ability to do anything they cant already but it would make it easier and more convient. As an added benefit, you could also help speed up the player finder que for everyone. Since this would make it more likely that people would que with more than role covered. Its an option I would pay cartel credits on.... hint hint... if that what it takes.

Oh i should have replied to this LONG ago. Bioware did an investigation of my situation. They asked me about the person who did it and their character names. They also checked chat logs. When the investigation was complete they gave me the names that were being held hostage from me. The reason was that when they checked the logs it was clear that this was being done as Harrasement. So I know its late (i don't look at the forums much) but I want to thank Bioware for a job well done!

It would be nice to have a graphic option to see or not see pets. When I say pets I mean pets, I am not talking about companions. Having this option would allow those who do not want the added clutter in fleet/flash points/raids the option to remove them without limiting other peoples personal enjoyment of using them. It would also slightly help those who run the game on older rigs since the less things you computer has to render the less work it has to do, the better your frame rate.

They took my name when they created the character with the purpose of denying me the name. I use a name that no one uses. I am not talking about a case where someone plans on useing the character, that would be different. I am talking specifically when someone took the name with the sole purpose of keeping it from me.

How about when a jerk takes you name on purpose? I am in a situation where someone took my name on purpose to keep it from me. They simply did their character transfer before I did (i was waiting on a finaly word from my guild) and created 2 level 1 toons to keep the names of the 2 level 50 toons I had that they knew about. Nothing I can do about someone being so childish. It would have been nice if there was some sort of filter that gave people their own name even if their name was taken by some recently created low level toon. Why should you loose your name to a level 1 toon thats never going to be played or is going to be deleted after they see you had to change your own name.

Hey I have a busy life too... Think my cable provider will only charge me for the time my TV is actually on? Or my landlord for the time I am actually home? The game servers and staff have to be paid for each and every day, so I dont think its unreasonable for them to have a monthly subscription. Also someone getting something that you don't get isnt a punishment but I could understand your disapointment in being left out. Perhaps they should have had a different promotion or an additional one BUT there is nothing wrong with the one they did have. Happy gaming all.
