  1. Perhaps one of my points was not made clear to you, I do comprehend that maybe people are playing poorly because that is their "exact skill level". In response to that I say this: But the current reward for losing simply encourages that "skill level" to never increase. It encourages players to not better themselves, and to stay, simply, bad. If their wasn't such a high reward for losing, people wouldn't be content with their skill level I believe, I think most people would try to get better, improve themselves in order to win. In order to win, and get that extra xp and money. ---------------------- That's a valid point, but I think in most cases, most players who i'm referring to in my main argument are NOT level 50. When you're like level 10-30, the reward for losing is still very hefty and chunky.
  2. As the title states, my point I will be stressing in this thread is this: Losing in a Warfront simply grants too much experience and credits for a loss. My reasoning: -It encourages continued poor play. New players, who are new to the warfront, will not care if they lose the WF because they get a large amount of experience and credits anyways. They won't push themselves to learn the best strategies or do their best because they won't have to, losings fine right? It shouldn't be. What if losing gave you only 1/10 of what you win in experience and credits? I think they would try harder then. -Losing a warfront is LOSING, you LOST, why should you be rewarded so greatly for losing? Where is the competitive nature in that? To sum up my argument, I think the warfronts cater to casual pvpers too heavily, and their heavily team-oriented nature directly counters that. The WF's are designed well, I like that: the reward system isn't. The WF's are designed to utilize teamwork, passing the ball in Huttball, Grouping up and taking a turret, or rushing a door/protecting doors. Therefor, in WF's, generally teamwork is needed to win. But teamwork requires effort. The easy way out (which is what I believe most gamers would prefer) would be to not put any effort in. IN MOST CASES, this does NOT happen because winning presents them with a reward that's worthy of their effort. But in THIS game, the EASY way out is to lose because the reward is worthy of their lack of effort. The definition of casual gameplay is lack of effort or skill. So finally I say this, I realize that this is simply another way of playing, I realize that maybe this game does not care if they're PvP is casual, I realize that many of you are content with the reward system and do not mind it. I however, being an extremely competitive gamer/pvper, detest it. Because in my server, I suffer from a large number of unskilled players who use up Warfront spots simply to end up losing and contribute nothing, but they don't care because they still get their damn experience and credits. Perhaps if losing a Warfront granted very little experience and credits (or quite less then the current amount) then the unskilled PvP players would not NOT join them, but when they DO join them they TRY to win, they TRY to better themselves, they TRY to put forth a team effort. -Your angry, consistent warfront loser, Anichon. P.S. Sorry if my structuring is poor, or some sentences might not make sense grammatically, it's late at night and I had to get this off my chest. (Thanks for reading.)
