This is just what I heard, and the poster below sums it up. I still enjoy the game. I can't comment on the F2P model yet as I haven't tried it. So I need to go by what I hear. To be honest the negative comments are what you will always hear most. I was hoping to get some positive feedback on the F2P and I did. Glad to see it is bringing in some new people and they enjoy it! I look forward to leveling with them and helping them along.

If you didn't like it before, you prolly aren't going to like it now. I think the game had made good, not great strides. Especially all the end game content that got fixed! I hope they have a bigger expansion planned!

What would they do about a headslot? If it did, you should be stuck on Tatooine and be forced to roam around fighting off sand people and scrapping together goods from old worn out droids. +10 to your haggle skills as well. Though many bounty hunters will come back wanting to kill you for selling them broken down old junk. <-- Totally new game mechanic.. therefore... will never happen.

I'm not unsubbing, I'm not anti-F2P. What is does is give players a really in depth look at the game as a decent try before you buy. I hear many people saying that the game is pay-2-win. Well... yeah. I would expect that. If I am subbing $15 a month I wouldn't want some F2P dancing bear newb to be bouncing around in full War Hero MKII beating me to death. I get the gear restrictions, I get the fine line EA/BioWare had to walk with this. But it kinda killed my hopes for more pops on Pug quests and PvP War Zones. F2P 1-50 was in mind mind supposed to bring back old players and allow people to level toons to 50 and THEN the heavy restrictions would hit at 50. I was dissppointed to see so many restrictions on the new players. The need to purchase UI? The need to buy Sprint? I wanted new players to come into this game and say... Wow, this game is kinda cool! It's fun! All I hear from new players is about how restricted the game is. No new content was added. Same Grind all the time. I realized many of the people returning were already upset with the game before, and even if they had added a carnival of new content these same people would not have been happy. Still I wonder about the take for NEW players in the game have? Someone brought up a good point. You get 3 War zones, all of them are Huttball where you get trounced by Subs, because you have no idea what's going on yet. Then that's it... would you really want to pay for more of that? I want people to be able to try ALL of this game. I want new players to have a good experience. I don't want my friends and new players to be routed and run off by people who have been playing for almost a year. F2P needs to be protected somewhat to have a good enough time to want to play more. Not bashed in the skull with a grav round kicked in the nuts by a Smug and told to go sub. That said, big thank to those in this community who are taking the time to help new players out! You guys are all making the game just a bit more enjoyable for everyone when you do something nice!

They fixed it in this patch! Now I am really going to be confused when I look up and try to figure out who's winning!

+1 to this guy's post and all who agree. I removed my proton torpedos as well because it was horrible trying to use regular missles after adding PT's.

*sigh* I agree with this. While I do think so classes are OP, I hate when they completely NERF the crap out of said class. The game is fun except for PvP which is very one sided. Merely to pop imbalance. Sometime I feel that Republic only has 12 ppl queing for PvP while Imp has 50... so imps end up fighting imps, and republic gets 6 vs 8... I dunno a good way to fix that without screwing something else up. Having played WAR for years, I realize now that you CAN only make things worse...

So... during WZ's I am noticing Imps kinda lag spike away from me as if warping away from my melee damage. I do not notice this on my Smug... Difference being my Shadow is closer to combat and alot more going on in the window. Also, Shadow is level 50 so more imps prolly have cooler abilities. On a side note, I specc'd my shadow from Def. to Off. and I find myself winning 1 out of every 15 wz's now instaed of 1 out of every 30... L2P meter +1 for me!?

I just can't find a good way to play this charater. Being out geared in PvP now I feel like I am ineffective as a tank because I am too squishy, and I do not do enough damage to help the cause in PvP. I'm looking for a good utility build that I can run with to give my team the best chance at winning. Has anyone had success with this class? Please help! I don't think my class is gimped, just not sure what the right build is atm...

You roll imperial, and don't try to PvP on the republic side... I liked Warzones Imp vs. Imp! It was balanced fair, even, and fun! This was also PvP under level 50. So... I'm sure I could find way to complain had I been playing Republic vs Imperial. In all honesty I have found a new enjoyment for this game as long as I do not try to PvP the battlemasters on the imperial side of my server. What BioWare needs to do is create a huge push to join the light side when you start the game! JEDI'S NEED PROPAGANDA AND MARKETING!!! Cause I already turned to the dark side cause they are like China with better technology!

Every game is point, click, shoot... wow is no better no worse... I like this game cause I can have a lightsaber. I like the story mode, and I like the good vs dark choices. RvR, and PvP are seriously borked... I'm just going to try to do what I always do and play the game for what it is not what it is not. PvE, and ignore imps or Reps even exist...

Yeah you guys are right... I'll just roll imperial and join the herd...
