I too hope they implement some form of decent space exploration and combat. Being a former Eve player this is a big deal for me. Obviously having the option to play most of the time in space is wishful thinking but at least being able to spend half your time there if you so choose would be nice. In my specific case I'll probably lose interest within a month or two once I get sick of the ground game completely. Obviously this isen't the case for everyone. But I feel given it is Star Wars and not WoW ships and space combat do have some significant role to play here.

I generally agree with their assessment. There is a really high level of polish to this game considering it just got released and its main selling feature is the story. Overall on the ground side I think the game is fairly well done. However I completely agree with GS the space side is crap. I used to be an Eve player back in the day and I was hoping this game would have an excellent in-space side to it. Unfortunately what exists currently amounts to a quick mini-game which gets boring very quickly. IMO if they were going to be half assed about that element they should have just left it out. It affects the overall game negatively including the space combat in its current format.
