  1. I waited a day to log in, waited for the patch to download, and got on this morning thinking that there would be so much to do, so much to catch up on ... i started playing swtor first day (founder), took a break and in 2020 thought, wow this game is still going strong. I caught up to speed on augments, gear, classes, pvp, stories etc. And was honestly sorry I had stopped playing as I was having a blast! Now back to logging in a bit late, waiting to patch, and .... 15 minutes later after opening my bags ... ***. Really? Eye strain, female beards, the classes now ... i loved my shadow spec, my main, and wow. The biggest improvements seem to be cartel related, to some degree, but the storage alone omg ... my spec ... I honestly do not think ill invest as much time and money into swtor now, although it may seem like small things ... sometimes, if its not broke you honestly do not try to fix it ... I was so pumped to return and invest, now, I honestly just do not know. I have rarely been on the forums, and have not posted in ... a long time. But i got on to see what others might be posting, and I can see im not the only one. Hopefully someone on the team listens to the players, those of us paying or just supporting and playing as this was ... well, honestly, 15 mins of OMG, and WTFs before logging out. I really hope more people respond to a single post so that devs may actually take notice.
  2. I did not know that I had focused on any employee at all. I mention BW as others have, but I will watch how I type in the future - as I said I am not one for really reading the highlights on things - family, work, life in general keeps me pretty busy so patch notes and (honestly this is my first post on the boards) what is approved to say or not, I was unaware - I should have been aware - not saying that, But thank you for the info. I will try to be more focused on "things" rather than the developer.
  3. I do appreciate the replies and that they are not "flames". Thank you. It was honestly not that easy to obtain BM gear - I was at valor level 71 and still not in a full set of BM gear, of coarse I may have not been able to log as many hours and I am not in a guild, so this does affect the amount of comms based on per-created groups. Like I said BW did great on some aspects, just really took away something, at least for me as a player, on others. Thank you for the responses. /Appreciated.
  4. I spent an enormous amount of time grinding matches and honestly had no time to sit around and read the forums or - the patch notes - to know that there would be more than a few class messing ups going on which is generally normal as they (BW) try to balance out the pvp/pve system and appease the "this class is overpowered" crowd. The night before 1.2 I had 2 BM Medals that I was saving to spend and a ton of comms - just not WZ comms - I had already maxed out my 1000 going for my BM piece. When I finally did log in the next day, I find that the BM comms are worthless for the most part, anyone can just buy gear, and some of my BM gear was better on the vendor than the gear I already had. I was excited to see the new gear however, except that, for an assassin it looks like a deformed predator/frog. And my comms would be traded at a one to one ratio rather than the amount of time spent on the previous ratio. I understand the fanboys and girls will jump on this and say - You should have, or oh well I'm not affected so, or the most general one - don't let the door hit you, and that's OK. I paid to play SW and had a blast I leveled up became Darth, found all the holocron's I wanted for my class, started alts, and have enjoyed the game. On that part BW did an excellent job. On the legacy - it really does have potential. I started PVP at level 47 on my main and really enjoyed it, even in other mmo's I never really got into pvp as it was so gear driven that you had to dedicate full days of grinding and/or join a large guild and raid for countless hours on end. I didn't have time for that, so I liked the ability to que in and grind on my own and was missing three pieces of BM gear for a complete set, at 71 valor I was loving the game and having a blast. Honestly, 1.2 ruined that as anyone one can buy gear, or just grind war zone credits for BM gear now and come out with more expertise than my old BM gear. Now, before the flames begin, yes - I could regrind the same gear to get the different stats, or, grind away to look like a deformed frog... but honestly, 1.2 took away invested time I spent away from other things and derailed the system. Besides the flames, fanboys and girls jumping on this post, is that really fair to those players such as myself? The game in-and-of-itself is stellar until level 50, then yes, you can grind another alt and experience another story line, don't get me wrong, BW did a great job and continues to with the pve for the most part ... with the exception of pricing on Legacy items and abilities, but once you get past that to those that enjoyed pvp, and I know this is a niche not the entire player base, but hey - we got (insert word here) on this one hard, and I for one would have appreciated some lube at least as the dry run on opening day of 1.2 was rough. - not impressed to say the least at how BW worked this one through for players such as myself. /end rant - flame away.
