  1. Green Gear which is well over 95% of what is dropped and cannot be modified Will not be able to be augmented even after the 1.3 update as stated by the head developer this is an EPIC FAIL if it is true I truly hope I am wrong. SWTOR is going down the tubes less than 10 people on my server, only one person in my guild and he is an idiot. To quote someone's saying earlier I want an MMO not an ORPG with no one else to play with. All of these features including the customization should have been available at the launch of the game, don't even get me started about the bugs and glitches!!! If they do not make the game better soon and get more people on it I am unsubbing.
  2. Yes LOTRO and DCUO both have better cosmetic systems that should be the basis for SWTOR to use as a guide. Wardrobes and armor not tied to stats are needed. I am most afraid with their system now the way they described it that paying for gear I do not have a problem with but paying tons of credits to mod gear with the augmentation tables = EPIC FAIL!!!
  3. SWTOR dev team did not come through with the color customization options they advertised in the 1.2 patch update instead they gave us the unify colors button. It is coming that you can change each piece of gears color and augment them each. It seems like too little to0 late and the servers are empty. I am really worried about the game. I like the PVP and FP instances, but the space battles stink, and crafting is not so hot, I hope they improve the customization soon and get more people online to play (I really hope they do not go under...) : (
  4. I agree that more customization and gear dyes or color changing further than just unifying colors now needs to be done but it does not have to be so complex and have augmentations that cost wayyy too much $$$ that no one has as the servers are empty and it is hard to even farm a Flashpoint because no one is there to go through it with you. Please SWTOR development team for the love of God make it like the style button on DC Universe Online where you can keep your high level gear stats and wear the outfit you want to wear!!! It does not need to be that complicated!!!
  5. Wow! You got me beat on creepy companion's. Dr. Lokin although is along the same lines of a creep he manipulates your character and uses you and I don't want him on my ship with my Female Sniper either! He is only out for himself, is a creepy scumbag, and on top of all that he turns into a Rakghoul if you get is affection up (ultra creepy). If I could I would throw him out the airlock. I said so to him as well in front of Kaliyo and she liked it. Kaliyo is creepy and a psychopath but somehow less offensive, and creepy, and sometimes funny. Lokin is also a useless POS in combat like the annoying ***** butler robot that has to be on your team I would love to flush him out the airlock too! lol!
  6. Kaliyo, and Khem Val are the worst companion characters, they both die constantly even though they have high stat heavy armor. Which make's being a sniper and assassin a royal pain in the ***** as they are supposed to be tanks that draw the fire away from you. Kaliyo's story and personality are interesting but in combat she is useless. Kaliyo is pretty darn ugly too like the rest of the crew with freaks and weirdos in the agent crew with the exception of Raina Temple (if you get a good customization on her). Thank goodness my Sniper is attractive and great in combat as everyone else is ugly and useless I put helmets on there heads so I do not have to see their ugly faces! I do like the BH crew so far but I have not gotten far enough to really judge that yet. I really do enjoy this game and just wish there were more people on it. It does have a lot of problems but to me it has more going for it than against it. I respect everyone's differing opinions mine are just based on my experience so far and may not be the same as everyone else's.
  7. My favorite characters so far are Mako, Jaesa, Raina Temple, Vette, Quinn (pretty much because he can heal and attack at the same time like Mako) - I don't really care for him otherwise he is just useful in battle. The imperial agent has the worst they are all ugly freaks and useless in battle but I like Raina obviously. The Inquisitor line-up is pretty darn bad as well
  8. Exactly I am 100% in agreement with this. I would like to add that my favorite companion by far is Mako, she is so useful at healing and attacking, I love her personality and she is so cute!!! The warrior does seem to have the best line-up so far as I have seen. Jaesa is really good, and Vette too but not as good as Jaesa. I really do hate Khem Val for the inquisitor, and Ashara while she seems like a cool character is completely useless if you are Darkside and she is a royal pain in the butt to gain affection for either way! The other thing bugging me besides the lousy companions is the lack of other people to play with on my server. I hope they get more people or consolidate servers or allow transfers (sorry for being off topic).
  9. I fear this update is too late. If Bioware does not release this patch soon like this month they will see a mass exodus of players from SWTOR subscriptions. My friend has already unsubed and he is more of a Bioware fan than I am. The FPS issues, many bugs, and sheer repetitive nature of the quests (with the exception of the agent/sniper story which is brilliant and really immerses you in the role and is cool). I really want them to succeed and want to like this game but have little to go on now, the flashpoints are quite good but are plagued with slowdown as are PVP instances. I am really disappointed with the Assassin Plot line there is little to use stealth on and no cool assassin missions to make you really feel like an assassin. My sniper and Juggernaut are the only characters I like now (aside from the bounty hunter which has a lot of cool powers and gadgets). I have to ask why for the love of God did Bioware base this whole $200 million dollar game on a aged and inferior hero engine? (the achitecture or underpinnings of this game is what is killing this games performance). Aion for example is based on the more current and much smoother running Cry Engine. If you do a side by side comparison I bet Aion has better draw distances smoother graphics and better performance than SWTOR on many different computers. The main reason the Hero Engine was used was quick and cheap development times and fast updates, well we have really seen neither of these things occur and now we are given this 1.2 update dangled in front of use like keys to a new Ferrari with no definite date of release, Bioware do you want SWTOR to fail epically?
