Also think about this - if they implement say a 10 dollar charge for this service, even tho it may not take 10 dollars worth of time to one of their programmers (probably more like 2 minutes - perhaps even automated if it's done enough), that would give additional funds for them to hire more people to take care of these other issues that their resources could be spent on.
