Shameless bump so this awesome idea don't fall off the grid. Like my friend yesterday submitted a bug report "pvp is broken" this could be the remedy for it.

I just received my fifth champion relic and it stuck to me it would be nice if we could change let's say two or even three pieces of champion gear to any "universal champion commendation" which would allow us to buy any piece we wish. I know posting it here is a looooong shot, but who knows. Thoughts?

I'm having exactly the same problem and I really hope it's a bug rather than feature. Planted a ticket yesterday and at least it disappeared from the active tickets list so hope they at least noted it. It would propably be helpful if others submit tickets about this case if they are having the same issue.

During the beta you could upgrade your commendations through commendation vendors, for example dromund kaas commendations could be traded for balmorra ones for certain rate. Now the vendors doesn't seem to sell those anymore so has anyone found a way to convert them? I find it odd if it's not possible, since by the time you have amassed enough commendations to actually buy something you are through with the planet and commendations gear becomes somewhat obsolete.
