  1. Amen, help our brothers and sisters out, the server is dying a slow death now
  2. For me, power moved to the second spot after getting a decent amount of surge, power makes your normal and your crits go up. Only sad thing is you need a crapload of power compared to getting surge... altho surge is getting balanced. So after 1.1.3 it might become Crit > power > surge for me
  3. Sawbone speaking here, and i rather have a crapload of mitigation then lots of HP. With the high mitigation i can heal the tank with my 2 hots + my aoe hot running and focus on other aspecs like laught at the dps standing in the fire, or wtfdps the boss when he has a short enrage timer. When they just got a huge HP pool i need to keep healing him over and over resulting in less time to do fun stuff.
  4. Cunning > Crit > Power > Surge Skill > patron (cunning > endurane) mods, i rather have more cunning then more endurance, unless you plan on tanking This should be about it, while leveling you're not gonna hit your crit softcap anyway, surge is getting balanced anyway and power is better for sustained damage. Altho i went cunning + Crit/surge all the way while i was leveling. Found that power has better use for me when hovering around the 40% crit and +80% surge >_<
  5. We get ranged crit from aim, so it's totally useless for healers. The cooldown on Upper hands is shared, you can cast SRMP (slow release medpack/kolto probe) on a whole raid but you wont get faster upper hands. For single target healer, i would just use UWM(underworld medicine) and maybe some SRMP, using a diagnostic scan if my energy would drop low. Will post stats when i get home this evening. I have about 40%crit 80%surge with my cunning somewhere between 1400-1600 (upper limit is gonna be ops buffed). For a single target, the most cost effective way to heal would be something like UWM > PUGNACITY > UWM > UWM > EM > DS > UWM > EM Altho i prefer a more flexible rotation so i stack SRMP on the maintank on others that need it keeping upperhands for the increased healing/emergancy healing or when i need to regen some energy. Best way to pop cool head(energy recovery) is when you are totally out of energy, (especially when it's talented) There is no real threshold, just dont do it too early ^_^ For burst on the tank i tend to stick to UWM unless he is getting low, then it depends, if it's a short massive damage burst, i will hit him with a kolto pack/underworld medicine to get him up faster, if it's managable i'll just spam EM till the burst is over. Spec i am using atm
  6. Dont know your class abilities; so i dont know where your big hitters come from.. But if you can snare and manage to kite him, it will gimp his damage output if he is playing scrapper. Most melee abilities are big hitters, get out of the 4M range and he will do a lot less damage. Keep an eye out for dots, dunno about your class but if you can get rid of them when they are stacking up it would be great to remove them(scrappers can remove them by activating a talented dodge), cause scrappers get increased damage when a target is dotted and they can be nasty. The dirty fighting tree is all dots, so that would gimp that tree. If he is a sawbone (healer) then it will be a fight of attrition or huge burst.
  7. your doing it wrong... FP's are too short, i want longer, more story driven, more bosses, more oh **** moments, MOAR MOAR MOAR.. stop whinning about getting too much and asking for less.. FP's aren't for you, stick to heroic 4.
  8. You aren't by any chance playing on Tott doneeta. If it was you, i was trying out my scrapper pvp spec, full dps build.. I usually open with shoot first combined with flechette, immediatly after that backblast and then blasterwip. Now depending on how close i am i sucker punch or vital shot with some basic attacks. And i still got my dirty kick and flashbang for when **** happens. By this time i am looking around to see were the imp backup is (mostly on their way, hate being outnumbered ) i use my disappearing act move a little and prepare to finish it with cause all my cooldowns are ready. if not, i just blast you with my basic and start over with with blasterwip and stuff... How to counter it, dunno really, i wouldn't blow your anti-cc on the shoot first unless you dont have that much hp, but save it up for a kick or a flashbang. pop your absorb as fast as possible tho, dodge/evade if you got that isn't that usefull when i am in melee range i think cause most my abilities are tech with +100% accuracy.
  9. Maybe... lets try to think outside the small box everybody is living it... maybe the sawbone isn't there to be compared with the sage. I admit, the sage atm is OP, but i dont feel like my sawbone is useless, i can heal ops/pvp/HM's fine. Takes some effort, but i can handle it.
  10. It doesn't, best you can get out of it is makings spells that used to have a long casttime shorter. Like an 1 second kolto pack (altho i have no idea why you would want that.) About the changing mods, i so far only changed the enhancement with end+surge/alacrity to the columi end+crit/surge cause well i dont need higher and faster crits i need MORE and higher crits Only have 2 pieces of rakata atm (not counting implants and earpiece), will see what the future brings. I like the fact that the mods have a crapload of power on them, even tho i am loosing out on cunning. Atm i am hovering around 40%crit 80% surge with not that much power, hoping the rakata stuff will increase my power but doesn't nurf my crit/surge too much.
  11. Esseles is slightly overtuned and turned out to have one of the biggest roadblocks of them all... First boss can melt a tank away if they aren't carefull. 9K headshots of ironfist will demolish a new tank and combine that with the aoe missile fase to stress the healer. But lets add 2 supprise adds that hit like trucks in the mix too. Fun ^_^ After that you have free epix as the rest of the bosses are way too easy compared to the first 2. Only problem is the last boss witch can be a handfull for the low lantency/slow players cause the lightning is unforgiving, combine that with sabre throw and you get instagibbed players, even decently geared onces if the sabre hit twice.
  12. Captain Jupke Shagzwell, Shagzwell by name, shagz better by nature ^_^
  13. Maybe you should go back to your one trick pony theory... that one was cooler.
