I use to be that hard core gamer; we would get a pizza and a case. The only time we would break was to pay the pizza guy and make a beer run. Weekends and hours and hours of nothing but hard core gaming. That was then (Aoc, WoW, warhammer, daoc, lotro and even aion) but like many we grew up and I don't have the endless hours to play now. With that said I still enjoy the time I do get on, a few hours here and there. To me it is not about the end game rush anymore it is about pure enjoyment and stress relief after duty. I use to make these games a job and that was fun for me then, not now. If I have 2 hours to play I don’t want to waste it looking for a group the whole time on a low pop server. I get on run my little quests and missions and then go out into the real world. A lfg tool would be useful ,not a "need" for me to enjoy the game, but I would most def put it to use in time saving.

This is a good solution , those that have 50's and vet should get it and those that eventualy will get there and being vets of course can pick up the perk as well when they hit 50.

My " more important things to do" is being over seas... sorry do not expect the " i did it so should you" unless you know everything about everyone do not judge. I have been here day o I have not gotten to lvl 50 .. have a few alts in 40's but no 50's... I play when i am home some (seeing my family is more important ) I am about to leave for another 6 months back over seas. I guess i won't get to 50 till i get back but i will still have a sub...I am happy people can get to 50 ect... but don't give me the " They did you should too" speach.

I would agree if it was for the lvl 50's who have endured from day 0 and stuck it despite it all...But that is not the case and honestly how many people that have lvl 45's or so and have been here the same amount of time took the time to report bugs in the lower lvl's on alts as well. I know Myself one day i posted bug reports on 3 dif. toons.... active sub from day 0 but unfortuantely I have a job that i am out of the country some and do not get to put in much time. So i am not a asset in your logic? Over someone who got the game less than a month and camped in front of the puter to get to 50 gets this reward?

So in this logic everyone must play the way everyone else does or you're not as worthy a player? I pay them the same amount as everyone else and play the way I wish to, if I run across a bug or something not right in my travels I report it like a good player would. With that said, I don't think anyone has the right to tell anyone how they "should" be playing considering they pay the sub. It is a game ... a way to relax and unwind if I am made to play the way "someone else" feels I should play it takes the fun out of it. Grats to those lvl 50 peeps if you stuck it out with all the bugs from day 0 you deserve it. but to be fair there is still plenty of bugs in the lower lvl's as well for those of us from day 0 we put up with.

why pay 25 or 30 dollars to go to the movies ( by time you buy snacks ) for maybe two hours? That is not the issue I did not get to play for over a month being away in the service but I kept my sub up. The whole "I did it any one can" is not a valid point you do not know what goes on in peoples lives daily. I play less than 3 hours a week sometimes but i am still paying a sub. That is not the point of this thread. The point is they pay the same if the play 2 hours a week or 20 and been here from day 0. That is the point being made.

because some people's jobs require more time than others . I was gone over a month with my job with no ability to play but I still kept my sub up (military) so yes some people do have jobs that require them to not make it to 50 as fast as some 9 to 5 people. I was a hard core gamer rushed to 50 in so many games but now I enjoy the casual game when i am home, but yet i still pay every month. That answer your question?

I do agree with the level 50's that stuck it out with crappy bugs and content and still stayed and remained loyal to the game, should be recognized. However I do not agree they are the most loyal and the "wording" of the promotion was wrong. It's not the I want I want I want …I could care less about a pet that will eventuallyl be made so everyone can get it at some point and someone will whine about that down the road. The 30 days free, meh 15 dollars is not the issue … issue is the "wording" making those who have been loyal go " ***" all it takes to be loyal to a game is a max character and a bunch of " no content at 50 posts?" I am soooo playing the game wrong then.

My first disagreement and rant with the game: I do not understand why you are giving the lvl 50 people 30 day free play. I do understand giving it to those who have been loyal supporters. I have been here from day one myself and I have been very loyal never complain on down time positive feedback and although I do not have a lvl 50 yet, I do not think I should be penalized because I have a life outside the game ( military and my mom just passed away) and instead of leveling one character I spent my time trying them all out . I am sure I am not the only one in this situation …it is unfair to just say someone who has an lvl 50 is loyal…..some of us play differently and although I will get to 50 when I decide on a class. I don't think I should be judged unsupportive because I don’t rush to 50 like the masse .
