They have stated plans to better reward healers in WZs. I look forward to hearing the details. My temporary solution is to vote the top healer MVP.

A reliable way to avoid this bug is to uncheck the reque button during the final scoreboard before exiting the warzone. I had the same issue as you and it has been 100% resolved by taking this step.

Agreed. And people are definitely PVPing now. Both in Ilum and on the forums.

True. That can't be helped. If bothers you to the point you no longer enjoy the game, you should do as you see fit. However, if you enjoy the game and are upset at the injustice, I would take comfort in the fact that all this gear and valor will be completely irrelevant in a few months. It will all even out with time. As for me, I choose to keep enjoying the game.

My guess is that they will look at players who gained an obscene amount of valor in a short time. Those people are clearly identifiable in the database.

I agree most were not "exploiting", but the dev post does state they are aware of some individuals who abused the system and will take action. I doubt they lose their valor, but will get a temp ban. I also agree that playing the game is not exploiting. An exploit would be the speed hack in WZs. The real problem is faction imbalance. They need to solve it pronto.

I doubt the bias toward Empire is really intentional, but they really need to address it. Gratz to your brother, hope you guys stick around, and stick with the Republic!

They would never just massively rollback game progress. All they need to do, and have stated they will do, is either recapture valor from or temporarily ban players who excessively exploited the opposing faction.

Thanks, bro. I think their biggest mistake was actually opening too many servers too soon. The populations got spread too thin. They need to start consolidating. And they need to make Republic more attractive.

This is a real problem, they need to implement cross server PVP fast. For 50's only, if nothing else. It's a bigger issue than Ilum.

The animation bugs are actually a way bigger deal than Ilum IMO

That I can understand. If I work hard to earn a day's wage and a guy that clocks in for the last 15 mins collects the same amount, I'd be upset. I still think it will all even out over time and won't seem like such a big deal a few months down the road, but I get it.

The community in this game has been amazing to date. I think some compassion and understanding on both sides would go a long way. Republic have it rough. Let's admit it. We ALL hope they do something about it, or it's LOSE/LOSE. There are humans on the other end of those thread posts.

The faction imbalance IS a real issue. If they are smart they will enact server transfers SOON, and make them free or cheap for a short window.

It's just a fact I have observed over the years. In MMOs, people no life hardcore for the gear, once they have it they re-discover the joys of sex etc. ....and Republic is not dead on Ven Zallow. We farmed Imps in Ilum, and had a nice winning streak in WZs tonight.

Once those BMs have their gear, they will play less. You play to get the gear. Once rated PVP comes out, things will have stabilized IMO.

A voice of reason. They acted fast for the gigantic juggernaut this thing is. Let's have some patience and enjoy the game. None of the BM gear will matter a few months from now anyway.

They will fix their engine or the game will die. I see a lot of potential here and will give them a few more weeks to get it worked out. I'm having a lot of fun in the meantime.

That's what server transfers will be for. If you are stuck on an imbalanced server, i would suggest finding a better server (there are many, we'd love to have you on Ven Zallow) and roll an alt for now. It sucks, I know, and I hope they give us server transfers (free for "founders") SOON.

Farming lowbies was as much of an exploit as Ilum today. Let's just move forward. We'll all have the same gear soon enough. Then only skill will count.
