  1. You sir, seem to be well balanced and rational, I vote you for President:) Yeah, I really enjoy this game, it's cool but let's not get carried away. This game may oneday topple WOW, possibly patch 8.4 Signed. (Obviously not a fanboy)
  2. I feel that the introduction of Achievements would be a huge improvement. Many players have mentioned a lack of end-game content, I too have noticed this. I would love to see an Achievement Page showing all possible achievements that can be acquired. These achievs should reward titles, pets, mounts, cool items, as well as achiev points. Hate to draw the comparison, but in WOW I have spent countless hours striving to increase my achiev points, it's fun, and getting a rare item/title, etc. makes it worth grinding. This adds beginning-mid-end game content without actually adding new game content. This would be a time consuming effort on the part of the devs, however I really enjoy earning achievements in-game, especially when you aren't even aware that you are about to ding an achiev. In order to implement achivements, they'd have to first introduce detailed statistics, which I also feel is a vital addition, stats are huge, how else will you know when you've reached 1 billion points of damage? If you look at the stats page in WOW, they show you EVERYTHING, right down to the total amount spent on postage, I would love to see these additions in the near future. Please leave your opinion on the validity of these features, and if they would improve gameplay, Thank You
  3. I'm positive that we're stuck on the same quest atm. Yes, the lvl 50 guards seem to be present in many chokepoints (areas that you must travel through, cannot go around) I too have spent huge creds on repairs. and actual hours (plural) trying to get to a certain quest, I've tried every approach that i can think of to no avail. I also do not like the multi-segmented mapping. I completed every quest in the area in one shot with hopes of not returning only to return quests at the spaceport and be sent right back. It's the area of the dread masters questline, Very Frustrating.
  4. IMO it is incredibly frustrating making your way to the fleet to meet up with a group to do a FP, especially when you are in a questing area. I have denied guild invites purely because of the time that it would take to get to the fleet when my fleetpass is on CD along with quick-travel. I don't like holding up a group, I used to always say (I'll be right there) frequently by the time I get there, someone has to log, or they are just gonna do this 1 quest real quick in the meantime. Then we're waiting on them, most times we end up quitting group with tenative plans------Maybe Later. If there was a proper Q system, you'd be able to form a group from all shards/worlds and yes, insta-port to the inst. I agree that the game should be challenging, I just do not find huge travel times to be challenging in the way I'd like. Sometimes travel to the fleet can be quick and fairly painless, however as a player that tends to use the fleetpass every 18 hrs, it takes considerably longer. So, yeah, I support the CROSS-SERVER LFG 100% for soo many reasons, I'd rather play in an environment that is not encumbered by limitations, and who's on right now.
  5. Same here,,,,awesome computer, crazy fast connection,,,looong loading screens, sometimes abnormally long. I get the feeling that it actually loads the entire shard data file during this time, I would like the option to download more of the gamefile if this is the case, to increase loadspeed. It really should not take this long.
  6. I must say that after watching this video , I feel relieved and excited about the new changes coming. If you're feeling discouraged about some of the features of the game, watch this vid. http://www.swtor.com/news/news-article/20120119
  7. Please No!! I would hate to see a limitation of use for a LFG/LFD system,,,no CD, No max use per day, please.
  8. I was going to quote a whole bunch of posts on this thread, but there are too many that puzzle me. I am 100% in support of an LFG Q system, I think that a lot of the posts in opposition are arguing the point because each person has a different idea of what the LFG Q would be. Here is my purposal of an effective Q system. 1. SAME-REALM It is true that server populations are seemingly low, this is highlighted by the sheer expansiveness of the game, there may only be "42" players on the fleet at any given time, however there are many players scattered around the various worlds. A proper Q system would connect players from all worlds of the game, also permitting players to enter a FP from their current questing location, also when the FP is finished they would be able to return Quest, then return to their previous location. Let's say that you are in a guild, you find 3 other players willing to do a FP, however they are scattered across the game, you could then, form a group and enter Q (as group) Ensuring instant entry, thus saving much lost time in travel. Players would still be able to LFG in chat, however they would also be able to invite friends on other worlds, invite guildmembers on other worlds. Let's admit that travel time is an issue, I have denied invites because I am in the middle of a class questline, or just questing in general. Meeting up at the fleet is frequently a time-consuming effort, especially if your Fleetpass is on CD, along with your quick-travel. This feature could largely increase FP activity, and you'd be able to connect form new friendships easier. Versatility is key, you should have the ability to do FP's in PUGs (Pick-Up Groups) by joining Q without a group, or join Q as a group. After doing a barrage of PUGs, your appreciation of a premade group will flourish. How would this negatively affect community?
  9. Watch the Star Wars movies, if you've already seen them, watch them again. I remember quite clearly that Master Yoda was teaching Luke to lift stones using the force. I also remember the frequent use of lightning by the Empire, these are not imbalances created by BW, these are accuracies based on the films. Nuff Said
  10. Is Dual Spec a worthy addition to consider? To clarify, I do not mean being able to pick 2 advanced classes, I mean being able to have 2 talent tree specs. For example I have been playing my Mercenary (LvL 28), filling the healing tree primarily. I want to be able to heal FP's PvP, Heroic Quests, and eventually Hardmodes, the difficulty that I am encountering is in solo play. I find myself feeling underpowered while questing, sure I can keep myself alive for the most part, yet my damage is considerably less effective as a result. I understand that I have a combat stance and a healing stance, however if I am focusing on healing talents, I am missing out on damage talents that would make a huge difference. I would like the ability to switch specs, so that my talent points would change depending on my spec selection, Heals/Damage This would provide versatility in all settings, I have joined groups that already have a healer and need a dps, so I change to DPS Stance, however my dps is very low, I think that all classes should have a dual spec option. This would also change the abilities displayed on your action bars, depending on the points spent. Please leave feedback on this thread. Do you feel that this would be a positive addition, or would it damage the game dynamic?
  11. I've never heard of any PvE gear in WoW that has resilience, unless you mean gear that is crafted by blacksmiths. I do agree with your point about discussing WoW without having played it, which is obvious from their lack of knowledge pertaining to the game.
  12. Not the case, I keep a clean log, 12/25 atm. Also I haven't even been able to locate 1 quest on tatooine yet, so it can't be due to a quest that has not been turned in, this is a recurring issue for me, it has never been due to too many quests in my log. My class questline led me here to tatooine, upon completion my next class quest is in Alderaan, however it is a LvL 28-32 zone, so I need to quest out this zone before continuing. I have been all over Mos Isla, travelled through the desert a bit doing random kills and LF quests, no luck yet. I'd expect that when you enter a new world at the appropriate level, the starter quest for the zone should be relatively easy to find, not the case tho
  13. I am so sick of getting this message (YOU MUST COMPLETE MORE MISSIONS BEFORE YOU CAN DO THAT) I have encountered this more times than I care to think about on multiple characters. Currently I am leveling a Mercenary LvL25 atm, I just completed the quests in Nar Shaddaa and have now arrived on Tatooine, the first 4 questgivers that I encounter within the spaceport and just outside have given me this message. I frequently feel as though I'm missing something, I will spend countless hours in various zones filling my chat window with this message. I can understand that this game is story based, and I admit that I tend to focus on the class quests before the others. Yet, I have never denied a quest, and I accept Every quest that i encounter, I go to the zones which are level appropriate and hunt for the quest that will start them all off. What am I missing, or doing wrong? I also have a lvl 50 Assassin with the same problem, I still am not able to accept 95% of the quests that I encounter even when I go back to much lower level areas. I can appreciate the (story-based) nature of the game, I just find it frustrating not being able to determine which quest is acceptable and which is not, and if not which quest must be done first.
  14. I can understand your point, however if you prefer to run FP's with specific players, or guild members this would actually make it easier for you to do so. You can join an FP Q as a group, this would assure instant Q, and would not require players to leave their current zones to participate. It's awesome that you have an active guild, all of my toons are guilded, however there are usually just a few players on at any given time.
