I'm having this same issue. In a way, I'm glad to see it's happening to others, as I recently built my first PC and updated SWTOR to 5.0 and am still having this issue. I thought I'd messed something up tbh, so at least that's a relief. However, it's dumb this is happening, and to so many. Hopefully BioWare listen to us and fix this issue rather then fix the other issues and go "Well, it's not happening to everyone just a number of people, so we can leave it for a while!". Seriously BioWare, don't do that. While this issue isn't as bad as it could be, having to restart my bloody PC every single time I try and Alt-Tab out or just close the game with the in game "Quit Game! button is incredibly tedious and annoying, even with Windows 10 on my SSD so my PC takes 15-20 seconds to restart, it's still super bloody annoying :/

Yeah, you're right. Although it's not "A few DPS" more like "On par with everyone else DPS" And the bonus of not causing myself pain stretching my right hands fingers for the abilities in my Rotation. Kinda sucks Bioware made that rule tbh. Way to make things more difficult for disabled people Bioware :/ *sigh*

Well, I wouldn't intend to do PvP since I'm just not into that. I'd use it really as a 1 button fire of my Rotation in PvE tbh. Reason being is I have severe arthritis in my Right hand, so using the keyboard with said Right hand can be both slow and somewhat painful. So I'd use a Macro just as a 1 button runthrough of my Rotation so I can use my much better left hand off the Mouse and to move with WASD. Otherwise I'd be pretty much hopeless in Ops as a DPS where it can take me a few extra seconds for each ability to fire in my Rotation. I can do it without Macros, but in Ops I'd be severely under performing and thus would hamper the group. As I said, using a Macros just to fire off my Rotation would be much easier. I doubt BW would find out, but it's probably not worth it so I don't think I'll bother :/

What's "NiM progression raiding"? Also, thanks for explaining it to me. No offense to the first guy, but that link went WAY over my head. I'm not exactly...experienced when it comes to anything outside of PvE levelling and dailies etc. And I have Dyslexia so a big wall of text like that is hard for me to get :/. Also, what's the main Rotation for a Sith Sorc Lightning DPS? Again, it was likely in the link the other guy posted but all that info is just too much for me in one go :/

So I've been lvl 65 for a bit, mainly just doing Heroics and Flashpoints/Star Fortresses but now I want to gear my main for Ops, as well as get prepared with Abilities and Rotations etc. I'm a Lightning Specced Sith Sorc with almost full set of 216 Armor with the Blue Crystals. I know you need 110% Accuracy, and from what I've been told, 35% Crit Chance is the point where you start going into other stats, right? A few questions I'd like someone to tell me: 1-How many Accuracy Augments do I need to get from my current 100% to 110%? 2-Which is better to go for, Mastery or Power? I know both increase the damage your abilities do, but which does more and is worth investing my Augments into so I don't waste a ton of money on the GTN? If someone can give me some help, I'd appreciate it, thanks

So it's pretty much pointless having any macros, right? I'm still ok key binding my rotation of 5 abilities to the numbered 1-12 buttons on the side, right?

Hey guys, so I wanted to ask, are Macros banned completely in SWTOR? You see, I just got a Razer Naga 2014 MMO Left Handed Mouse and was considering setting Macros but have heard they are banned? Is this true? I know Macros are frowned upon by players (especially PVP, but I don't PVP really anyway) but are they actually banned? Or are just continuous looping Macros banned but non looping Macros are allowed? If you guys could let me know, I'd appreciate it. Thanks guys

Hey guys, so I've noticed when taking Screenshots, they are MUCH darker then the in game image. Same as trying to record the game using Nvidia ShadowPlay/Share (Whatever they want to call it nowadays). The game looks fine when playing, colours are full and the game isn't too dark at all, but when I take a Screenshot, or record some game footage and look at it, it's always much darker. Any ideas why this is anyone? Thanks for reading and thank you to anyone who helps, I really appreciate it .

The Intro Hello all! This is an ad for my guild Visceral. We're a friendly guild that focuses on RP, PvE and being as social and friendly as possible. We're a very small guild currently with only 3 members, but hope to grow and get many, many more members. We will do PvP later on as we get more members, so if you are all for PvP then don't be put off. The Backstory As for the guild size you may be wondering "Wait, 3 members? Don't guilds require more just to make?" And yes they do. The reason there are only 3 of us currently is because this was a guild that was made at the very beginning of SWTOR and was actually one of the best and largest guilds on the server back in the day. I left SWTOR and returned recently to the game to find that sadly the guild had pretty much disbanded and only 3 of us were still in the guild when everyone else left. I had been left in charge as Guildmaster during my absence. However, rather then simply quit and join a different guild I want to try and build the guild back up again as I recently discovered while guild searching for my alts that guilds that focus on BOTH RP and PvE are quite rare, as most I found were either PvE OR RP based and not both. So I figured this might be a niche on the server that Visceral can fill.
