  2. My guild is just not doing him until it is fixed not worth the time. Just focusing on ALT runs to maximize gear... SO all our first second and third toons are all 78.

  6. We Hybrid one DPS for support heals Also our tanks are taking 12K hits not 15K Both Juggs Armor Ratting 10200+ SH 40% AB 30% DEF 21% HP total both around or above 40K ***We gear tanks and healers first
  7. This happened to us as well on 16M SM. He were hoping for it on 8M HM but it did not happen. We will try him again on Sunday. ****It happened exactly after ONE WIPE on 16M SM
  8. **This fight is NOT a DPS race. It is a survival test. Healing it is not easy. Keep in mind no hard enrage exists. The fight ends when you run our of platforms. Mechanics 1. Green dot 2 people (Uncleansable) Damage output is high place hots on them. 2. Thundering Blast (Only the tank on the Boss takes this hit NO ONE ELSE) 3. Inferno 4 people (Always place this on the edge or corners of a platform) 4. Simplification 3 people (2+ current tank on boss results in a tank swap) Now all that being said.... a review of Simplification and the why.... Aggro in this fight is a pain... not only does simplification drop aggro but the boss seems to have a low aggro ceiling making it easy to lose threat and get people one shot by Thundering Blast. 1. Off Tank taunts during Simplification Cast. 2. Main tank does not leave the platform until the cast completes (Why? because despite the target showing as the off tank the MT will be followed by the boss resulting in the OT not building enough threat and a thundering blast hits the raid) 3. OT threat will return to ZERO once cast is complete but the taunt will hold the boss for a few more seconds. Use Every high aggro move plus AOE taunt just after the Simp cast to hold threat. (It is also advised that DPS steps off the gas at this point) {But wait what if OT taunts after simp instead of during. The split second threat drop will result in the boss teleporting away and kill people. The Taunt changes the target to the OT so when the cast completes the boss does not leave the OT} Now to clear confusion I will review simplification again just stating what happens reworded. 1. Boss Casts Simp 2. OT Taunts during Cast 3. Boss changed target to OT 4. During Cast despite OT being targeted MT must stay until cast completes or will be followed by boss causing issues 5. After cast MT leaves to drop simp 6. After cast OT threat drop to zero but Taunt will hold for 2-3 seconds more 7. OT does every high threat attack followed by AOE taunt. 8. OT holds boss until next simp using cool downs allowing MT to refresh cooldowns. 9. Repeat (Make sure both tanks are clear on where they will be dropping Simp far in advance) Assuming you can handle that simp mechanic you can control this boss enough to survive and kill him. ***Alternative group builds ******Because of high DPS output and healers that needed more gear we decided to do a test run with 3 healers 3 DPS just to see how it would go..... That being said we killed the boss on that attempt with at least 45 seconds to spare before losing all platforms.
  9. Both of our tanks have high end systems and never had an issue on Dashrood due to load screens. Take into considerations when you first go to the future and the past. We all get a load screen I arrive he has not spawned. 2 sec later he spawns and then 2 sec later he attacks giving plenty of time. However after this phase when all 8 return to the present he is already spawned and does not delay at all.
  10. My guild started progression on this boss this evening and have an issue when returning to the present.. To be clear about exactly where this issue occurs: Phase 1 8 in present DPS boss Phase 2 Half group in past half in future Phase 3 8 return to present <---------Problem occurs right here the second we zone in At the start of Phase 3 we all get a LOAD SCREEN (That is all 8 of us) When we can respond Calphayus has already leaped in and ONE SHOT a DPS or HEALER. <---this is the bug The best we have been able to do to spam a hot-keyed aoe taunt on both tanks and no matter what a DPS or Healer is still ONE SHOT!!!!!!!! I have opened an in game ticket regarding this exact issue but I wanted to bring it to the forums as well so anyone else seeing this could respond.

  14. Infernal Harvest killed Bestia last night here is our method on the fight. I specifically covered various DPS checks advising at what point you need to be to be on track as other guides are not covering this. I hope this helps everyone especially our Phase 3 portion of the fight. Review of Bestia 8M HM (DPS checks) Phase 1 Adds Monsters (Should be tanked and separated or they get angry if close to each other) Tentacles (Must be interrupted) (Assign 2 people) Spitters (Untanked) (Assign one person to kill) 2 Monsters spawn right away have all DPS burst down one monster. After first monster dies all 3 dps got tentacle and one handles spitters. Keep in mind tentacles interrupts must NEVER be missed at ANY time. DPS check – If DPS is good you will have about 10 seconds with only 1 monster up. 3rd monster spawns dps should have chewed through the tentacle/spitters and should be on a monster. DPS check – The 4th monster spawns for us right as the 2nd monster dies we had 3 up for about 2-5 seconds each fight DPS handles a tentacle and spitters then starts on the 3rd monster. When it dies all adds other than monster 4 are killed then start monster 4. DPS check – Bestia will engage after a time limit or after monster 4 dies. For us the 4th monster was at 25% when this happened. The available tank picks up Bestia and the monster is killed then all dps to Bestia ***Assuming only the 4th monster is left when Bestia engages and it is at less than 50% you have the DPS to complete this fight. IF NOT you may need more gear. Phase 2 (Bestia burn) Mechanics Tanking Stacks are placed on the tank. Sometime you go awhile without getting any, sometime they accumulate very fast. Swap at 5/6. At 6 she does a very damaging attack. ALSO if you are at 11+ stacks and she force leaps to you YOUR DEAD. (When at high stacks never leap away this become important in Phase 3) Mechanics Everyone Else 1. Red circle appears on someone stay away from everyone else. 2. Debuff causes you to drop a separate (independent from mechanic 1) circle that ticks for 15k be in motion when debuff expires to avoid all damage. (beware the edges and the raise platform in the middle they conceal these circles) PS: don’t leap through them Phase ends at 50% HP Phase 3 Everyone else mechanics STOP Bestia Tank mechanic REMAIN Add in phase 1 spawn indefinitely 1 wave at a time. All add mechanics plus the monsters get even angrier if they are near Bestia. Until Bestia is at 25% make sure DPS is handling those monsters. If two monsters are up at once it is all OVER (DPS was SLOW). Repeat add killing cycles until 25% After she is at 25% finish off current monster and switch all dps to Bestia (Only exception is the tentacle interrupters). All dps to Bestia means when the next monster spawns it will be tanked but not DPSed. When Bestia is at about 12.5% you will have two monsters up and will have to do a tricky tank swap one tank having both monsters and the other on Bestia then switching…. When Bestia goes down all add DIE instantly.

  16. The problem is group composition. The corrosive grenade is doing a massive amount of damage and it is random target and splashes to surrounding PCs. The dot is the real threat taking 70% hp quickly if not cleansed. With group comp T Jug Jug H Sorc Sorc D Mar Sorc Snip Snip The fight becomes VERY VERY difficult. Now when we realized the issue we just rolled in ALTS subing H-Sorc for H-OP and D-PT for D-Merc and that resolves the issue. Regardless this isn't NiM that is restricted very specific classes required. Being this harsh for HM is annoying to say the least. Then again with a little more 78 gear this may be a mute issue considering we had ZERO 78 gear going in.

  18. Yes, Clarification is needed. So would the Tanking Defense Proc, be able to Proc with the tanking shield absorb proc. (In the past they have not worked together. Also So which is it 1. All relics work together unless EXACTLY the same? 2. Different relics work together unless they are the same type of different gear tier? 3. Only changes were to dps relics stacking and tanking were unchanged? Can some give details?
  19. Based on our performance on them... I don't see it happening anytime soon. We are considering skipping them... And based on that thought... I want to encourage the devs to separate the HM/NM lockout to prevent skipping and allow for us to still run HM with those toons for more gear while doing NM same week.

  21. Before I make this statement I want to say I don't play this class... Why would we NERF NM content that is suppose to be VERY difficult when only ONE class is the issue. Why not buff the class in PVE ONLY.
  22. Infernal Harvest is considering Blacklisting the class from NiM PVE. Reasons DPS to LOW Tanking to squishy Obviously more thing go into all of that but the class is just terrible compared to all other options. I wish PVE and PVP would be balanced independently. Meaning if a PVP change is made the ability function the in PVP differently than it does in PVE. All that being said I don't play the class.... I do not have a 55 Assassin. I am going off what my other assassin who are great tanks and have abandoned there Assassins. All my good tanks have already switched to Jug or PT.
  23. Bah... While making changes can we just disable pets in Operations...... Only reason to have them in operations is to cause more lag.

  25. When I recently (Last 4 Months) leveled a new ALT I noticed this as huge problem in low level content. While is would be nice to report a piece ninja looted and have it go into a report that can be viewed before rolling with a person... Sadly the feature would be a waste of resources. Because For the Elder Game we have Guilds... Many different types of guilds..... One certainly fits your needs. 1. Find it 2. Join it 3. Make Friends in it 4. Profit Ninja looters only prosper in an environment of anonymity. The moment you develop communities (Society/Guilds) they can't survive and will perish.
